The Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo has unveiled its reimagined Diamond Suites collection and Gustave, an elegant new bar beneath the iconic Eiffel Dome.
Part of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s extensive renovation programme, launched in 2024, the latest transformation introduces 40 new rooms and suites, including seven signature residences that now join the prestigious Monte-Carlo Diamond Suites collection.
Combining the timeless elegance of the Belle Époque with contemporary luxury, the project reflects the hotel’s enduring commitment to refinement while preserving its remarkable heritage.
Reimagined Diamond Suites
Originally created in 2004 by acclaimed designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, the Hermitage Apartments have been completely reimagined by the Pierre-Yves Rochon Architecture Firm in collaboration with the Monte-Carlo SBM Design & Engineering Office.

Designed as sophisticated private residences overlooking the Mediterranean, the seven suites showcase exceptional craftsmanship throughout with the use of Versailles parquet flooring, Calacatta marble bathrooms, bespoke mouldings and rich fabrics, all enhanced by a palette of soft Riviera-inspired tones.
Leading the collection are the Princely Diamond Suite and the Presidential Diamond Suite.
Spanning 283m², the Princely Diamond Suite offers three terraces with sweeping views of Port Hercule and the Prince’s Palace. Spacious living and dining areas are complemented by a spectacular master bathroom clad in white onyx, complete with a hydrotherapy bathtub, sauna and hammam shower.

The 151m² Presidential Diamond Suite features two sea-facing terraces, elegant reception spaces and luxurious bathrooms finished in Calacatta Oro marble. Located on the hotel’s top floor, the two suites can be connected to create a remarkable 434m² residence accommodating up to eight guests.
Introducing Gustave
The hotel’s latest social destination, Gustave, occupies a prime position within the Winter Garden beneath the iconic Eiffel Dome.
Designed by interior architect Shirine Zirak, the new bar unfolds across a series of elegant lounges and a charming terrace inspired by the historic winter gardens of the Belle Époque era. Stone flooring, wrought-iron furnishings and abundant greenery create a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.

Open from noon until 1 am, Gustave is designed as a place to linger throughout the day, whether for lunch, dinner, afternoon refreshments or expertly crafted cocktails. Under the direction of Head Bartender Julien Lecharpentier, the cocktail menu pays tribute to Art Nouveau and the grand cafés of Paris, featuring both timeless classics and inventive creations.
A New Era of Luxury
With its reimagined Diamond Suites and the arrival of Gustave, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo continues to enhance its status as one of the Principality’s most distinguished addresses.
The transformation marks another milestone in the preservation and evolution of this Belle Époque landmark, with further developments already planned as the hotel’s story continues into 2027.
