This summer, three landmark hotels in the heart of Nice are turning their lobbies into galleries, and they are looking for emerging artists to fill them.
After a successful first edition, 3ART is back, and the call for submissions is currently open through April 19 to emerging plastic and visual artists for a chance to exhibit for the first time in a prestigious public setting. Selected works will hang all summer at the Hôtel West End, the Hôtel Beau Rivage and the Hôtel Aston La Scala, three of the most visited addresses in Nice, with an international clientele throughout the season.
Submission is free, and all mediums are welcome: painting, sculpture, drawing, street art, pop art… Any artist, amateur or professional, who has yet to make their mark on the public is encouraged to apply. The concept seeks to showcase the wide variety and creativity of local talent.
The 3ART parcours was founded in 2022 by the three Riviera flagship hotels of the 3A Collection and drew more than 70 candidates. Three were selected, one per hotel, and their participation became a launch pad for all of them:
The photographs of the Côte d’Azur by Frédéric Le Quéré, playing with symmetry and perspective, went to the Beau Rivage; he has since expanded his career as a director, cameraman and editor at his own audiovisual production company.
Isabelle Deromas took the West End with her portraits of daily life along the coast (see lead image); she has since shown at the Musée de la Photographie Charles Nègre as part of the #NiceStreetPhotography exhibition.
The graphic, luminous canvases of Mariya Velychko filled the Aston La Scala; she has since exhibited at the Carrousel du Louvre, shown in Monaco, and received the Artistic Merit award at the Luxembourg Art Prize.
The second edition of 2026 has Sabine Geraudie, known as SAB, as its patron. The painter, sculptor and installation artist has been a central figure in the Nice art scene for over a decade: her 3.40-metre “Chaise de SAB” has been one of the most recognizable artistic landmarks on the Promenade des Anglais since 2014. She will sit on the selection panel alongside the hotel group’s teams.
