The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco continues today, with the big race taking place tomorrow, Sunday, 7th June. On the programme. today we have the Formula 2 and Formula 3 Sprint races, the third and final free practice session for Formula 1, followed by the F1 qualifying sessions. The action on track gets underway at 10:45 am. There is also plenty happening at the Fan Zone with a number of drivers in attendance from 10:20 am to meet and greet their adoring fans!

Join Nice Lawn Tennis Club in Place Masséna from 10 am to 6 pm today for Te’Nice en Fête, to kick off the New Vision Nice Open. For one day, tennis and racquet sports will take over the heart of Nice with activities, introductory sessions, and challenges open to everyone. Urban Tennis is coming to Place Masséna! The Festival de Théâtre de Saint-Laurent-du-Var, featuring the Compagnie Albatross, comes to an end today. There are a number of performances on throughout the day, starting at 11 am this morning, with the final performance at 9 pm tonight. The Festival Fables Lab continues throughout the weekend in the gardens of the Villa Rothschild – médiathèque Noailles in Cannes. with free open-air performances. Organized by the Mairie de Cannes, this event celebrates the spoken word in all its forms: traditional oral tales, myths, legends, stories, poetry, impromptu burlesque performances, street theatre, and songs.

The Longines Global Champions Tour – Cannes International Jumping, taking place at the stade des Hespérides in Cannes, concludes today. The 23rd edition of the Festival de Peu continues in Le Broc. This year’s theme – repetition – is rich and deliberately paradoxical, and ponders whether repetition is a trap? With an impressive line-up of artists, the festival has a different energy than it would have in a white-cube gallery in Nice or Paris. Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur presents the final performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera La Traviata tonight at 8 pm. A young couple are deeply in love… until social conventions catch up with them. Jealousy, misunderstandings, sacrifice, and illness are the ingredients of this absolute gem in the history of opera. This is a co-production between Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur, Angers Nantes Opéra, Opéra de Rennes, Grand Théâtre – Opéra de Tours, and Opéra Orchestre National Montpellier Occitanie. The Gianluca De Palo Band play the Trinquette Jazz Club in Villefranche-sur-Mer at 9 pm tonight. An Italian group, they specialise in Chicago Blues, Jump, R&B and Soul, with a repertoire ranging from blues classics to original songs from the album My Kind of Blues. It is a sonic journey through which guitarist and singer Gianluca De Palo moves from the rural blues of early Mississippi to the sounds of Chicago, while incorporating other valuable influences. The Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco takes place this afternoon. The programme for the day sees the Formula 3 Feature Race getting underway at 7:45 am, followed by the Formula 2 Feature Race at 9:25 am. The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race takes place at 11:45 am. The Formula 1 Drivers Parage takes to the track at midday, with the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco getting underway at 3 pm. Strap in for 78 laps of pure exhilaration! Ville de Nice and La Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur is hosting Nice Fête Le Tour from 10 am to 5 pm today. As part of this event, La Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur Sports is organizing a cyclosportive race open to all, starting at 8:00 am on the Quai des États-Unis in Nice.. The course features 1,321 metres of elevation gain and covers 87 kilometers of legendary roads that will be used by the riders of the 2026 Women’s Tour de France. There are also plenty of other events and attractions on offer at the Le village Nice Fête le Tour, located on the Quai des États-Unis – full programme available on the Ville de Nice website. From 2 pm to 6 pm, discount codes for 15 and 30 minute rides for Pony and Lime self-service bikes will be distributed at the self-service bike station opposite Opéra beach.

Cagnes-sur-Mer presents a new, two-monthly free event dedicated to families, Familles en fête, taking place in Haut-de-Cagnes from 10 am to 5 pm today. For this inaugural event, the Place du Château and the narrow streets of the medieval village will be transformed into a veritable playground where culture, heritage, nature, science, and entertainment will come together throughout the day. An exhibitiion entitled La commedia dell’Arte, miroir de la société opens at the Centre culturel La Providence in Nice today, running until 18th June. Opéra Nice Côte d'Azur hosts a concert of chamber music at 7 pm tonight in the intimate and inspiring setting of the Musée Marc Chagall. Featuring members of,the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice, these one-hour sessions invite you to (re)discover the greatest masterpieces of the repertoire, but also to be surprised by rarer, sometimes little-known works.
