The 30th Marché de la Truffe gets underway today at La Bastide Saint-Antoine in Grasse. There is a very full programme on offer throughout the day. A must for lovers of these black diamonds!

Le Tournoi International d’Épée de Monaco (the Monaco International Fencing Tournament) will take place this weekend at Espace Saint-Antoine. This prestigious event will be held on 17 pistes and will bring together the highest level of international fencing. The programme includes individual events for men and women, with up to 200 athletes competing, including more than 130 of France’s top fencers competing in the National Senior Women’s event. The XXV Winter Olympic Games take place in Milano Cortina this February. In advance of this, the Olympic torch is being paraded in a relay throughout Italy and will be on the Ligurian coast today. Get out there and be a part of history!

The latest immersive experience, L’Odyssée Céleste, continues in the Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption in Nice. This incredible show, designed and executed by Luminiscence, transforms sacred architecture into living narrative through light, sound, and technology. Le Tournoi International d’Épée de Monaco (the Monaco International Fencing Tournament) continues today at Espace Saint-Antoine. The programme includes individual events for men and women, with up to 200 athletes competing, including more than 130 of France’s top fencers competing in the Women’s Senior National Championship today. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Cup will be awarded to the top competitors during the finals, which will take place at 4:00 pm.

This season, Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur is proposing a new show concept for younger audiences! The Kingdom of Opera is fast asleep … only children have the power to awaken the artists! In this unique show, young and old alike are invited to become part of the adventure. While the magic unfolds, a snack is served at the King’s Court. But the audience won’t be forgotten and will also be treated to a little something sweet! For children aged 5 to 10, accompanied by at least one adult. The anual summer exhibitions at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco are always something to look forward to. Next summerm we will be treated to a major exhibition retracing over a century of passion for motoring in the Principality. Running from July 1st to September 6th, 2026, advance ticket sales are now open.
There is plenty going on in the world of theatre around the region. The Anthéa in Antibes has an amazing programme of shows and performances lined up for the 2025/’26 season. The Théâtre National de Nice also has an impressive line-up for the season as does the Théâtre de la Cité in Nice who have a very busy programme.
