As part of its mobility strategy, the Gouvernement Princier will extend free bus services during major events taking place in the Principality in 2026.

First introduced as a pilot initiative in 2025, the measure is designed to encourage residents and visitors to use public transport during peak periods, when traffic congestion is typically at its highest.

In 2026, free travel will be available across the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM) network during the following dates:

  • Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters: Monday, April 6 – Friday, April 10, 2026
  • Monaco Historic Grand Prix: Friday, April 24 – Sunday, April 26, 2026
  • Monaco E-Prix: Saturday, May 16 – Sunday, May 17, 2026
  • Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix: Monday, June 1 – Monday, June 8, 2026
  • Vuelta a España: Saturday, August 22 – Sunday, August 23, 2026
  • Monaco Yacht Show and Luxe Pack: Friday, September 18 – Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Free public transport will apply across the entire bus network, not only on routes serving event venues. Further practical details will be communicated by the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco ahead of each event.

Through this initiative, the Government reaffirms its commitment to promoting public transport during major international events while helping to ease travel throughout the Principality.
