Say hello to November and another action-packed week on the Côte d’Azur! Read on for our suggestions for things to do over the coming seven days.
We have another action-filled week ahead of us, filled with a multitude of activities and experiences to suit all kinds of interests.
From fairground attractions to jazz festivals, and all things AI to stand up comedy, you’ll definitely find plenty here to keep everyone happy!
So, without further ado, here’s our taster of what’s on offer this week.

SATURDAY 1st NOVEMBER



Today, being the 1st of November, sees the start of the global Movember campaign, raising awareness about men’s health issues. The Cannes Movember team has lined up a number of events, starting with Devenez moustachu ! (Grow a Moustache!) by Laurent Briard of Barb’Hair Shop (Carnot). Event runs from 8 am to 6 pm.


The 6th edition of the Festival Coul’Heures d’Automne hosted by Antibes Juan-les-Pins, comes to an end today. This International Festival of Urban Art brings together international artists and residents who over the previous five editions of the project have been involved with the creation and mapping of 50 large-scale murals, making Antibes Juan les Pins the capital of street art on the French Riviera. The Foire Attractions de Monaco continues in Port Hercule, running until 19th November, 2025, the Fête Nationale Monégasque. There will be plenty of entertainment and attractions on offer for both big and small kids alike!


Le festival P’tits Cannes à You at the Théâtre de la Licorne come to an end this weekend. The festival has boasted an incredibly busy programme, with film screenings, workshops, theatre and dance productions and so much more. And all at very affordable prices. The 42nd Foire aux Santons gets underway today in Mouans-Sartoux, running daily from 2 pm to 6 pm until Christmas Eve, 24th December. Taking place at Médiathèque cinéma La strada. Free admission.


For those with an interets in all things AI, get yourself along to FNAC on avenue Jean Médecin in Nice at 5 pm this evening. Studio Laffitte and the EuropIA Institute are pleased to invite you to the premiere of the graphic novel The Trial of AI, the first comic book about artificial intelligence, created with the help of AI. There will be an interview with Julien Raout, author and artistic director of the project, and founder of Studio Laffitte. The event will be followed by a hands-on workshop to discover how to practically guide AI-powered creation and a book signing. Free entry, limited spaces.


The 10th edition of the Club Vivanova Luxury Gala Charity Ball takes place tonight, under the high patronage and presence of Her Serene Highness Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. Over the years, the galas have raised over €400,000 for charity – testament to the generosity and spirit of its international guests. The event takes place in the Grand Salon of the Fairmont Monte-Carlo. Tickets may still be available online.


Les Royal’s du Rire comedy festival, organized by la Mairie de Mandelieu-La Napoule, continues at the prestigious Royal Casino Joa in Mandelieu. Tonight, Julien Santini takes to the stage. Between stand-up and offbeat humour, he shares his observations and experiences, seamlessly blending poetry and audacity throughout the show. Show starts at 8:30 pm and tickets may be reserved online.


The 28th edition of Jazz sous les Bigaradiers gets underway tonight in La Gaude, running until the 10th November. The grand opening takes place at Club So What in La Gaude with Swing à l’italienne with the Chromatic Trio and the Franck Taschini Quartet. The concert starts at 9 pm and admission is free.

Le Trinquette Jazz Club in Villefranche-sur-Mer presents Jazz Accords Quartet, four professional musicians from different backgrounds but with a shared passion: Jazz. Show starts at 9 pm. Tickets cost €18 and may be reserved online.

SUNDAY 2nd NOVEMBER



Entries for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation 2026 Environmental Photography Award close today. This is one of the conservation world’s most anticipated visual storytelling competition, for both professional and amateur photographers alike. Entries are submitted online across five categories: Ocean, Forests, Polar Regions, Changemakers and Humanity vs. Nature.


Rokethon is back in Monaco today, encouraging us all to take part in this march against the abandonment of animals – a staggering 117,000 dogs and cats were abandoned in France in 2024. Taking place at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille, the charity walk/run starts at 10 am and there are plenty of activities to keep everyone happy throughout the day, both two and four legged! SAS Princess Charlene will be lending her support to the event by participating in the march.


The Trail Longe Côte Cannes ‘La Croisette’ takes place this morning, with 2, 5 and 10km courses for individuals and pairs. Organized by ASLM Cannes Longe Côte, this event brings together aqua walking enthusiasts, both licensed and not. This year’s edition is special, being part of the first French championship calendar. The event is now full but do come along and support the participants and enjoy a Sunday by the Med!

The Cannes Movember team has another event lined up for us with Opération Car Wash. Featuring grown men in swim trunks – and it’s November – ready to do anything to get you lathered up and clean your car … From 9 am – 11 am at Lav’Azur (Le Cannet).


Come along to Haut-de-Cagnes from 11am to 6pm today for an exceptional and free discovery of the Grimaldi Castle-Museum, its creators, and its heritage, following an artistic trail showcasing all the artists of the medieval village. Unique encounters, introductory art workshops for the whole family, exhibitions, guided tours, and music. Full programme available on Ville de Cagnes-Sur-Mer website.
La Ville d’Antibes Juan-les-Pins is closing certain roads today to traffic to encourage everyone to come out and enjoy their city. From 8 am to 5 pm, get out your bikes, sneakers, and rollerblades: the road is yours! In Antibes, the pedestrianised zone will be on the RD 6098 between Fort Carré and Villeneuve-Loubet. In Juan-les-pins, the Boulevard du Littoral will be yours to enjoy!


Le Cannet has some afternoon theatre on offer today with Une Veillée Peu Coutumière, created and directed by Philippe Kreiter. A comedy for all audiences. Show starts at 2:30 pm at Salle Bel’Aube. The Chœur de l’Opéra de Monte-Carlo and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo present Le Vaisseau fantôme (The Flying Dutchman) by Richard Wagner. The performance takes place at 3 pm in the Salle des Princes in the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco. Tickets may be reserved online.

Les Royal’s du Rire comedy festival, organized by la Mairie de Mandelieu, concludes this evening at the prestigious Royal Casino Joa in Mandelieu with Olivier de Benoist and his show Le droit au bonheur. Show starts at 6 pm and tickets may be reserved online.

MONDAY 3rd NOVEMBER



At the heart of the legendary Marché Forville in Cannes, the Monday flea market is a veritable treasure trove for passionate bargain hunters and those curious about great finds. Here you can find everything from tableware, luxury and vintage secondhand goods, to contemporary art and vintage vinyl. Whether you’re a collector, art lover, vintage fan, or simply strolling through Cannes, don’t miss this authentic event every Monday at the foot of Le Suquet!


Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur presents the musicians of the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra in a series of chamber music concerts, taking place in the Foyer Montserrat Caballé of the Opera House. In an intimate and inspiring setting, these hour-long performances invite you to (re)discover the greatest masterpieces of the repertoire, as well as be surprised by rarer, sometimes little-known works. Today, we have the works of Brahms, Ravel, Schubert, Strauss, Tchaikovsky and more. Concert starts at 12:15 pm. Tickets cost €12 and may be reserved online.

TUESDAY 4th NOVEMBER



Starting today and running until this Friday, 7th November, the Maison du Numérique in Monaco is running the third edition of Immersive Week. The theme this year is AI at the Service of Humanity. There will be a series of conferences on various aspects of AI. Please note, all events in French.


The Foire Attractions de Monaco continues in Port Hercule, with plenty of entertainment and attractions on offer for both big and small kids alike!


To celebrate the 30th anniversary of MAPIC (the international retail property and distribution market), there will be a fireworks display at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes. Taking place at 10pm. MAPIC runs at the Palais des Festivals 4-5 November.

WEDNESDAY 5th NOVEMBER



In the continuing series of AI talks, IADates, the Département des Alpes Maritimes hosts IA ange ou démon: le nouveau monde de l’invisible (AI: Angel or Demon – the New World of the Invisible) (in French). With Laurence Devillers, professor of AI at Sorbonne-Université. Taking place in the Palais des Rois Sardes in Nice at 6:30 pm this evening. Free admission but pre-registration is required.


L’Académie Rainier III will showcase its orchestras for the first concert of the year tonight, offering a richly diverse programme. The theme is harmony and teamwork. The concert takes place at Espace Léo Ferré in the Principality at 6:30 pm. Duration 1h30. Admission is free but you need to pre-register with the Mairie de Monaco by emailing academie@mairie.mc, indicating Surname/First name and number of seats required.


La Note Bleue in Monaco presents Tracata tonight at 8 pm, as part of the Les Mercredis Live series. Founded in 2016, the TRACATA collective aims to showcase the rich musical identities of Brazilian music drawing from Samba, Bossa Nova, MPB, Forro, Axé and other styles. An authentic, captivating and ludic musical experience reflecting Brazilian’s deeply diverse musical culture. THURSDAY 6th NOVEMBER



If you are in Monaco, why not take some time and check out the Petit Marché du Larvotto, which takes place every Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm. Located on the Esplanade Joséphine Baker, near the Lartigue Fountain. A weekly event to complement the municipal markets, delighting foodies and fresh produce lovers.


Les Jeudis de la Villa is back at the Villa et Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat with guest Guillaume Néry and an evening entitled Un souffle nouveau. The event is nearly sold out so book your ticket now for this or other upcoming soirées.


The team from Cannes Movember is hosting an Apéro / conférence in association with CHU Nice and CH Cannes, to discuss prostate cancer and its impact. Taking place from 7:30 pm to 9 pm Chez le Brasseur (Cineum Cannes)


Cap d’Ail hosts an evening of jazz at the Théâtre Les Funambules with the quartet ARPEJ. Composed of young talents from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, this exceptional Parisian ensemble presents compositions by each of its members and is part of the new jazz scene in the capital. Concert starts at 7:30 pm (duration 1h30). Tickets cost €15 and may be reserved online or €20 on the door.

The 28th edition of Jazz sous les Bigaradiers Jazz au Féminin continues with the Adèle Viret Quartet who play at the Théâtre Alexandre III in Cannes. The concert starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets cost €10 and may be reserved online – be warned, they are selling out fast.

FRIDAY 7th NOVEMBER

As part of the 26th edition of the Mois du Doc event taking place throughout November nationally, the Médiathèque Charles Nègre in Grasse will host a screening of the Michel Toesca film, ‘Libre’ (2018 | France | 1h40m). The screening takes place from 6 pm and is followed at 8:30 pm by discussions with two associations: Agir pour le Lien social et la Citoyenneté (ALC), which assists in the protection and integration of migrants, and COVIAM (Le Comité de Vigilance des Alpes-Maritimes), which ensures respect for the rights of foreigners living in France. Panda-Events, in collaboration with Le 109 and the Ville de Nice, present REF Session #2 at Frigo 16. Featuring Âme live along with Luna and Saint Esprit. There will also be a deep & tech house live set by Frank Wiedemann. Tickets from €17.20 available online.
Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur hosts an evening of Tchaikovsky, featuring Lionel Bringuier and David Kadouch, with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice. In addition to Tchaikovsky’s flamboyant Piano Concerto No. 1, you will also be treated to two works inspired by tormented literary and mythological figures: Francesca da Rimini, an incredible symphonic fresco taken from Dante’s Divine Comedy, and the astonishing Danse de Prométhée by the young French composer Charly Mandon. A rare opportunity to combine the great classical repertoire with contemporary music! Concert starts at 8 pm and tickets cost from €10 to €34 and may be reserved online.


As part of its ongoing campaign, the Cannes Movember team has organised a poker tournament at the Royal Casino JOA in Mandelieu-La Napoule. Running from 8 pm to midnight. An evening full of surprises, as well as the poker, slot machines and, of course, generous donations to the foundation!


More jazz with the 28th edition of Jazz sous les Bigaradiers Jazz au Féminin tonight with the Compagnie So What followed by the exceptional duo of Mieko Miyazaki and Franck Wolf, who will introduce you to the koto, a traditional Japanese instrument, and its encounter with jazz. The concert starts at 9 pm at Salle de La Coupole in La Gaude. Tickets cost €25 and may be reserved online.

OTHER EVENTS & ATTRACTIONS



The Conservatoire de Cannes presents the 23rd Journées Nationales de la Musique Electroacoustique, running from Tuesday, 4th November to Friday, 7th November at a variety of locations in Cannes. The event will bring together students and teachers from across France for opportunities to share and explore new sounds. Concerts will be held at the Théâtre de la Licorne, featuring student works from Tuesday to Thursday, and a tribute concert to Michel Pascal on Friday. In addition, lectures will take place on the Georges Méliès Campus, addressing current musical themes. All concerts and lectures are free, inviting the public to discover the richness of contemporary electroacoustic music. The full programme of events is available on the event website.


The 2026 Nice Jazz Festival may be nine months away (23 – 26 July, 2026) but intial tickets are now on sale. Early bird passes €120 available online now.
There is plenty going on in the world of theatre around the region. The Anthéa in Antibes has an amazing programme of shows and performances lined up for the 2025/’26 season. The Théâtre National de Nice also has an impressive line-up for its new season as does the Théâtre de la Cité in Nice who have a very busy programme for the upcoming season.


There are also plenty of excellent exhibitions going on throughout the region.
