Villa Garibaldi and the Stand-Up Comedienne

A fashion shoot with a difference, featuring a Romanian comedienne based on the Côte d’Azur, in the very trendy Villa Garibaldi in Nice.

Adina Rusu is a Romanian. She is the first ever Romanian woman to break the male-dominated stand-up comedy circuit in Romania, quickly becoming a top act with a significant reputation. Adina told jokes and entered into good hearted repartee with her audience, despite going through a tortuous break-up with her then partner.

The after affects of this trauma of her break up led her to create ComedyCode, to help people deal with trauma and depression. Adina runs courses throughout Europe, often offering her services for free, to pass on her knowledge helping others deal with the anxieties and stress of life by using comedy. Smiling makes you feel good – I am smiling now writing this so I can confirm it works!!

If you think that is all she does. Ok she is writing a book, everyone does that don’t they? No, she has another side. She creates works in glass. These works will soon be unveiled at a vernissage in Monaco. The first creation will be auctioned with the proceeds going to charity.
