Pink Ribbon Monaco Presents A Special Poker For Pink Night

Pink Ribbon Monaco is proud to announce the first charity tournament Poker For Pink in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention.

Pink Ribbon Monaco, in association with its partners PokerStars (through its Helping Hands programme), Sun Casino, Group Monte-Carlo SBM, Slyde Watches and Héli-Air Monaco, will be holding a Texas Hold’em No Limits poker tournament at 2pm on Saturday, 15th February, in the Sun Casino in the Fairmont Hotel.

The event is open to the first 80 applicants, and the overall winner will walk away with a seat at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final on 26th April, 2014 at Monte-Carlo Bay Resort, valued at an impressive €10,600.

The funds raised will allow Pink Ribbon Monaco to continue its awareness campaigns, promoting breast cancer screening and prevention alongside works to the new breast cancer-screening centre at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre, which will be inaugurated in spring 2014. They also hope that this poker tournament will create more awareness among men about their movement, and generate a buzz amongst card players, with the promise of a fun and exciting night…and all in the name of a great cause.

Registration for the tournament costs €350, and is strictly on a first come, first served basis. Places are limited to 80 entrants. To register, you will need to email Pink Ribbon Monaco. Once the 80 seats have been filled, your name will be placed on a waiting list.

There are some great prizes on offer for the tournament. The 1st prize, as we mentioned before, is that €10,600 seat at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final Main Event.

A Slyde watch valued at €4,550 is the second prize, while the 3rd prize is a “Monte-Carlo Expérience” holiday package for 2 guests, donated by Monte-Carlo SBM, which includes a 2 night stay for 2 in one of their luxury establishments, with round-trip airport-hotel transport compliments of Héli Air Monaco.
