Counting down the days to Movember, and we are calling on all the Mo Bros and Mo Sistas out there to join us in spreading the good word!
By this stage you all know about Movember, the world’s biggest male cancer awareness campaign. Having originated in Australia way back in 2004, there are now millions of participants annually in myriad countries, making this a truly global movement.
Come Friday morning next, all you Mo Bros will be starting into the month of Movember, a great challenge and responsibility that you do not have to shoulder alone — we are there to support you every step of the way!
If you haven’t done so already, be sure to register as a Mo Bro on the Movember website, and then all you have to do is follow these simple rules below!

1. You must begin on the 1st of Movember with a clean-shaven face.
2. For the entire month of Movember you will grow and groom a moustache — see above for some suggestions!
3. There is to be no joining of the mo to your sideburns — that is considered to be a beard.
4. There is to be no joining of the handlebars to your chin — that is considered a goatee.
5. As a Mo Bro, you must conduct yourself like a true gentleman.
But ladies, Movember is not just limited to moustachioed guys…you too can play your part by becoming a Mo Sista. A Mo Sista is essentially a woman who loves a Mo. An individual that is dedicated to supporting the Mo Bros in her life through their moustache growing journey; whether it be a friend, colleague, family member, partner or boyfriend.
“Never a truer word was spoken, when it was said that behind every great man, stands a great woman. Whilst a Mo Bro may grow, it is the Mo Sista that is often the driving force, first planting the seed (of an idea) and then carefully working away behind the scenes of fine moustachery for the 30 days of Movember.” [Official Movember statement]
We encourage you to send us your photographs as your Mo takes shape, and we will be more than happy to post weekly updates to support our local Mo community. We also invite you to post them to Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or Instagram using the hashtag…
Let’s all pull together and keep men’s health front and center…
