The world famous Hard Rock Cafe franchise is coming to Nice – and the Promenade des Anglais will never be the same again!

Fitout works are underway in the new Hard Rock Cafe on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, with an opening date set for this October. This is only the second Hard Rock Cafe in France, coming some 20 years after the original one opened its doors in Paris.

The café, spread over two levels and some 550 m2 of floor area, will be able to accomodate 200 patrons, with seating for a further 30 on the terrace. Amongst the memorabilia to adorn the walls of this newest addition to the franchise, expect to see a guitar from Black Sabbath, and some outfits courtesy of Justin Timberlake and Rihanna. There will also be a bar and shop on the premises.

From the first Hard Rock Cafe set up in London in 1971 by Americans Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett, the brand now has cafés in all major cities throughout the world. The newest addition to the chain will provide employment for some 70 people in Nice.
