We have another action-packed week stretching out ahead of us on the Côte d’Azur. Read on for our suggestions for things to do over the coming seven days in this corner of paradise.
It’s shaping up to be a busy week in the region with a multitude of activities, experiences and attractions to suit all kinds of interests.
With jazz festivals, film festivals, and Movember high on the agenda, you’ll definitely find plenty here to keep everyone happy!
So, without further ado, here’s our taster of what’s on offer this week.

SATURDAY 8th NOVEMBER



Why not start off the weekend on a healthy note with a nice walk? Organised by the Mairie de Monaco, the Monaco – La Turbie walk celebrates the anniversary of the twinning with Dolceacqua. Come enjoy a splendid stroll through nature and back along the coast, alongside an Italian delegation. The day starts off at 9:00 am with a welcome breakfast at the Cours d’honneur de la Mairie. The walk takes you to Princess Antoinette Park, the Moneghetti Stadium and on to La Turbie (la Trophée d’Auguste), then back through Cap d’Ail to Mala Beach and back to the Mairie. A light lunch will also be provided. Places are limited and registration is required – email communication@mairie.mc to reserve your place.


With ski season just around the corner, you might be considering investing in some new equipment. Why not sell yours or maybe find a bargain at the Bourse aux Skis in La Colmiane today. Running from 10 am to 4 pm. Reserve your stand for €10 and come sell your winter sports equipment and clothing: sleds, skis, poles, jackets, snowboard boots, après-ski boots, hiking boots, gloves, helmets, goggles, thermal clothing, ski suits, pants, and down jackets. Les Rencontres de Cannes 2025 gets underway today, a month dedicated to celebrating creativity and artistic diversity. These events offer the public opportunities for exchange, discovery, and reflection through screenings, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and masterclasses, accessible to all and mostly free of charge. Today we have Les Rencontres littéraires jeunesse for children aged 7 – 12, taking place in Médiathèque Noailles. There will be workshops on graphic design and manga where the participants can explore the creative worlds of authors and illustrators and create with them. A visiit to the Nuit Polaire exhibition is also planned for the afternoon. There are limited places available and pre-registration is required by calling the numbers listed for each event on the programme.


The Foire Attractions de Monaco continues in Port Hercule, running until 19th November, 2025, the Fête Nationale Monégasque. There will be plenty of entertainment and attractions on offer for both big and small kids alike!


Today is the final day of La Castagnada – Fête du Terroir, hosted by Ville de Nice. Today’s event takes place from 1 pm – 5 pm at Jardin Saint-Jean d’Angély. Come and enjoy the local terroir as well as the creative workshops, children’s activities, chestnut tasting, and musical entertainment! Free admission – food available on site.


The 42nd Foire aux Santons continues in Mouans-Sartoux, running daily from 2 pm to 6 pm until Christmas Eve, 24th December. Taking place at Médiathèque cinéma La strada. Free admission.


The 28th edition of Jazz sous les Bigaradiers continues in La Gaude, running until Monday next, 10th November. Billed as a non-stop day, running from 10 a.m. to midnight at La Coupole, with free admission to all events (excluding the concert tonight), the programme includes:
From 10 am: “Wellness” and instrument-making activities and sales, “Women in Jazz” photo exhibition
11 am: Performance by the Léo Geller Quartet, filmed by Virginie Tumorticchi and photographed by Virginie Broquet; presentation of the Côte d’Azur Jazz Award
12 pm, on the forecourt of La Coupole – an aperitif and ravioli with daube offered by the Municipality of La Gaude, music by the Harmonie des Baous
3:30 pm: “Ephemeral Cabaret” featuring standards and original compositions with the PounkIPA Quartet; followed by Monk’s piano with The Green Chimneys trio at 4:30 pm and a lecture by Cédric Fioretti on “Women in Jazz,” with Ryoko Nuruki on piano at 5:30 pm.
9 pm: classic jazz trio with Smail Benhouhou, followed by bassist and singer Sélène Saint-Aimé (Victoire du Jazz 2021) with a dream quintet, tickets €25, available online


The Mairie de Monaco presents the Munego Repair Café with the participation of the Association Repair Café Nice. This is a free repair workshop for all portable items. Taking place from 3:30 pm to 6 pm at Marché de la Condamine, admission is free and all are welcome.


As part of the 26th edition of the Mois du Doc event taking place throughout November nationally, the Médiathèque Charles Nègre in Grasse will host a lecture by Albert Marouani, historian (Sciences pour tous 06), professor of economics at the University of Côte d’Azur. This lecture will revisit the issue of migration in Europe. It will provide an opportunity to discuss the historical perspective of migration, modern forms of migration, its scale, countries of origin and destination, migration routes, and the effects of migration on both countries of origin and destination. Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur hosts the second of two evenings of Tchaikovsky and Mandon, featuring Lionel Bringuier and David Kadouch, with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice. In addition to Tchaikovsky’s flamboyant Piano Concerto No. 1, you will also be treated to two works inspired by tormented literary and mythological figures: Francesca da Rimini, an incredible symphonic fresco taken from Dante’s Divine Comedy, and the astonishing Danse de Prométhée by the young French composer Charly Mandon. A rare opportunity to combine the great classical repertoire with contemporary music! Concert starts at 8 pm and tickets cost from €10 to €34 and may be reserved online.


Peuple de l’Herbe play Stockfish tonight with their eclectic brand of hip-hop, acid jazz, nu jazz, dub, rock, and drum and bass. Doors open at 7pm and food and drink is available on site. Tickets cost €10 and must be purchased online. Reduced rates also available.


Théâtre Francis-Gag in Nice plays host to the Nice Jazz Orchestra who perform a tribute to the late Wayne Shorter, a jazz genius who passed away in August 2023. Pierre Bertrand conducts and guests are Ron Di Lauro and Sylvain Gontard. The concert starts at 8 pm and tickets, costing €18.80, may be reserved online. Reduced rates are also available.


An evening full of surprises set to the rhythm of Raï’N’B with DJ sets and live performances from Waseem, Arezki, Sami Galbi, and Dakka Marrakchia. Raï’N’B is the meeting of the sun-drenched Raï and the vibe of R&B. Sounds that transport you, lyrics that resonate. Organised by the Université Côte d’Azur – Direction de la Culture, show takes place at 8 pm at Frigo 16 in Nice. Tickets cost €20 and may be reserved online. Reduced rates also available.


The 20th edition of C’est pas Classique gets underway today and boasts an action-packed programme, with something on offer for everyone. Tonight, Renaud Capuçon presents a world-premier of Les Choses de la Vie – Cinéma II at the Palais Nikaïa in Nice. The show is unfortunately sold out but you can sign up for the waiting list.

SUNDAY 9th NOVEMBER



The Cannes Movember crew has another event lined up for us with Laurent Briard of Barb’Hair Shop. He will be offering his barber’s chair free of charge at the Marché Forville in Cannes to give you a glorious moustache in exchange for a donation of your choice! From 9 am – 12 pm. Be sure to join the Movember Cannes WhatsApp group to stay up-to-date with all the activities this month.


The 18th edition of Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes takes place today. There will be road closures and disruption to traffic along the route. Check Ville de Nice and Ville de Cannes websites for further information.
As part of the continuing 28th edition of Jazz sous les Bigaradiers, Nice Gospel Group perform in Église de La Gaude at 11 am. Free admission.

Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur presents a family concert entitled Sorcières et magiciens (Witches and Wizards), with a programme brimming with energy and imagination, with the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra. Featuring Modest Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain, Charly Mandon’s Prometheus’ Dance and Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, this concert presents three captivating visions of the fantastic. Perfromances at 11 am and 3 pm. Tickets cost €10 and may be reserved online. Free admission for children under 12.
More from the The 20th edition of C’est pas Classique this afternoon with the Ensemble Baroque de Nice. They propose to bring you on a musical journey between Italy, France, Germany and England, which will allow you to discover (or rediscover) the art of the musicians of this very fertile period. Free admission, no reservation required. Concert starts at 3pm. Limited seating.
The Nice Jazz Orchestra perform the last of three tribute concerts in memory of the late Wayne Shorter, a jazz genius who passed away in August 2023. The Centre Culturel La Providence in Nice presents a tribute concert in honour of the late Zakir Hussain, a renowned tabla player. The concert features classical violinist Kala Ramnath and tabla master Nihar Mehta. The concert starts at 6 pm. Tickets cost €18 and reduced rates are also available.

MONDAY 10th NOVEMBER



At the heart of the legendary Marché Forville in Cannes, the Monday flea market is a veritable treasure trove for passionate bargain hunters and those curious about great finds. Here you can find everything from tableware, luxury and vintage secondhand goods, to contemporary art and vintage vinyl. Whether you’re a collector, art lover, vintage fan, or simply strolling through Cannes, don’t miss this authentic event every Monday at the foot of Le Suquet!

The final night of the 28th edition of Jazz sous les Bigaradiers in La Gaude sees Jazz and Cinema take centre stage. The programme features the swing and Latin rhythms of singer Behia, followed by a screening of the film “Billie” by James Erskine, in collaboration with the Vence Film Festival; regular cinema prices apply (€8.50). Cinéma La Coupole at 9pm.
Tap virtuoso Aurélien Lehmann and world-renowned pianist François-René Duchâble unite three centuries of classical music – from Bach to Gershwin – in a one-of-a-kind visual and musical performance. Part of the 20th C’est pas Classique festival. The concert is free entry by pre-registration and is actually full. However, you can sign up to the waiting list for this and any of the concerts.

TUESDAY 11th NOVEMBER



Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat hosts a charity 7-a-side soccer tournament in aid of Tous avec Hugo. Teams are made up of players over 35, with a maximum of 10 players per team. The tournament starts at 8 am at Stade Intercommunal de Saint-Jean / Beaulieu. €80 entry fee per team. Call Philippe on 06 22 82 69 38 or Sebastien on 06 23 97 28 04 about signing up, if not too late to do so! Entertainment on site throughout the tournament as well as on-site catering.


Come enjoy an Apéro Cocktail Moustache with the Movember Cannes team at Carline in Le Suquet. A convivial evening awaits you, tasting the “Movember” cocktail – all donations going to the Movember Foundation. From 5 pm to midnight. The 31st edition of Rencontres Cinématographiques takes place in Vence, starting tonight and running until Sunday, 16th November. There is a very busy programme on offer, with plenty of preview screenings and interviews with actors, screenwriters and directors. There will also be the presentation of the Audience Award for Short Films and the Youth Jury Award for Short Films and other events for the opening and closing of the festival.
The 20th C’est pas Classique festival continues with Les Virtuoses, three classically-trained musicians, who perform their En pleine tempête at the Salle Jacques Audiberti at Anthéa at 7:30 pm. Registration for the event was by email. However, you can sign up to the waiting list for this and any of the concerts.

WEDNESDAY 12th NOVEMBER

Street pianist and Niçois composer Steve Villa-Massone plays a free concert in Nice Étoile at 4 pm today as part of the ongoing C’est Pas Classique festival. Well worth stopping by if you are in the locality.

The 18th edition of ZeFestival, the LGBTQIA+ film festival, takes place in Nice, starting today and running until 1st December, 2025. Organized by Polychromes, it is a multi-disciplinary event that embraces cinema, literature, poetry, painting, photography, singing, stand-up comedy, debates, and festive evenings. The 22nd editiion of the Monte-Carlo Comedy Film Festival gets underway tonight, running until Saturday, 15th November. The event takes place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco and screenings are open to the public. Admission is free, subject to availability. The Grand Gala, hosted by Ezio Greggio, takes place on the Saturday night with the presentation of prizes to the winners of the films and lifetime achievement awards. The event will be broadcast on mediaset networks. Tickets for the evening may be purchased online but are selling out fast.


PLAY AZUR presents Soirée Disney Channel at Stockfish in Nice. Relive the magic of the Disney Channel era: High School Musical, Hannah Montana, Violetta, Camp Rock, Lemonade Mouth, and much more … an evening full of nostalgia, dancing, games, and entertainment to relive the series and hits that defined a generation. La Note Bleue in Monaco presents the Peggy Polito Quartet tonight at 8 pm, as part of the Les Mercredis Live series. THURSDAY 13th NOVEMBER



If you are in Monaco, why not take some time and check out the Petit Marché du Larvotto, which takes place every Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm. Located on the Esplanade Joséphine Baker, near the Lartigue Fountain. A weekly event to complement the municipal markets, delighting foodies and fresh produce lovers.


Les Jeudis de la Villa continue at the Villa et Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Tonight features guest Delphine Horvilleur, writer and rabbi, who will delve into the power of language and resilience, guiding attendees through a thought-provoking exchange on these themes. The event is actually now sold out so be sure to book your ticket now for the other upcoming soirées.


The team from Cannes Movember is hosting a Rock & Folk Concert, featuring the band “No Light“. Starting at 8 pm at Le Lapsuce Bar (Mandelieu Les Tourrades). This is a ticketed event and is limited to 200 people. Reserve your place now!



The Nice So Fétiche festival gets underway today, running until this Sunday, 16th November. A celebration of fetish diversity, the programme promises a vibrant mix of activities that highlight the creativity and inclusivity of the scene – proving that fetish culture is as diverse as it is dynamic.
The Théâtre Les Funambules in Cap d’Ail hosts pianist Florent Garcimore who will be performing his “Petites illusions”, a mixture of piano and spoken word as part of the C’est pas Classique festival. This is a free event but you must register online. You can get your name on the waiting list by calling 04 92 41 29 33 if the event is full.

FRIDAY 14th NOVEMBER



The 24th editiion of the Saveurs et Terroirs festival gets underway in Mandelieu today, running thoughout the coming weekend. Over a hundred producers from all over France will be present at this gastronomic event which showcases French expertise, and the authenticity of regional products, most of which will grace holiday tables this year. Wines, ciders, gin and champagnes (to be consumed in moderation), foie gras, charcuterie, cheeses, spices, teas and condiments, sweet specialties… not to mention tableware, will all be represented. Saveurs et Terroirs is a festive and welcoming event centered around generous and authentic gastronomy … the perfect gathering for epicureans. The 14th edition of the In&Out Queer Film Festival gets underway in Cannes today, running until next Friday, 21st November. The festival will coincide with the 38th Cannes Film Festival organized by Cannes Cinéma, featuring a special cross-programming of three films.

Frànçois & The Atlas Mountains bring their elegant and vibrant pop to Stockfish in Nice tonight. They will be supported by Merle. Doors open at 7 pm. Tickets cost €10 and may be reserved online. Reduced rates also available.


Panda Events, in collaboration with Base Production and the City of Nice present Kap Bambino as part of the Festival Artifices Numériques. Taking place at Frigo 16 in Nice, the show starts at 8 pm. The support act is Yvory and aftershow sounds will be provided by Ice Kuts. Food and drink available on site. Entry is free but you need to pre-register.

OTHER EVENTS & ATTRACTIONS



The 2026 Nice Jazz Festival may be eight months away (23 – 26 July, 2026) but intial ticket sales are now open. Early bird passes costing €120 available online now.
There is plenty going on in the world of theatre around the region. The Anthéa in Antibes has an amazing programme of shows and performances lined up for the 2025/’26 season. The Théâtre National de Nice also has an impressive line-up for the season as does the Théâtre de la Cité in Nice who have a very busy programme.


There are also plenty of excellent exhibitions going on throughout the region.
