Land, sea or air, this year’s exhibition is set to excite everyone with a love for all things fast and classy. A ‘top secret’ global launch also awaits enthusiasts in Monaco

Another summer of motoring is well and truly underway in Monaco. But why should formula car drivers be the only ones to enjoy top-of-the-line tech at exhilarating speeds? Top Marques, in its 18th edition, promises to bring that experience to us once again.

Starting June 7, this year’s edition is set to see six world launches. Among them is nanoFlowcell’s QUANTINO , the world’s first roadster to operate without a battery; two restomod Ford Broncos; an IR8 Tributo by Dallara Stradale; and FLEX, a lunar rover by Monaco-based Venturi that will soon be deployed by SpaceX.

Did you count only five launches? That’s because the sixth launch is a “top secret” and will be an opening day surprise. “I am bound to secrecy,”  Top Marques CEO Salim Zeghdar told the press. “A European car brand will be coming to present us with a world preview of a top new model,” the CEO said, building up anticipation.

This year’s edition will also house “Astorossa,” a Ferrari-exclusive auction, which will see 50 classics from the Modenese maker go under the hammer on June 8. “Top Marques has established itself as an important automotive event in the Principality. The most beautiful brands are exhibited there. Enthusiasts meet there. We therefore provide a complementary service,” said Laurent Blomet (pictured below), founder and director of MonacoCarAuctions who will be conducting the auction.

Alpine, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes and Porsche are some of the confirmed names on this year’s supercar line-up along with constructers such as Koenigsegg, Klasssen and Inéos Grenadier. The supercars will line up once again with a collection of classics, including two Benetton F1 cars which helped Michael Schumacher to his first two GP wins.

Over 150 exhibits on show will also be up for sale. The only exception being a reconstructed Bugatti Royale Esders by Schlumpfs which comes to the exhibit from the National Automobile Museum in Mulhouse.

Top Marques will also be seeing the unveiling of Airbus Corporate Jets’ ACJ TwoTwenty , geared towards revolutionising business aviation sector. According to the exhibitors, this ‘Xtra Large Bizjet’ will be “combining intercontinental range, unmatched personal space and a reduced environment footprint.”

In line with its ambition to show the future of transportation, Top Marques will also have on show the MC One, an electric flying car and MH2, a hydrogen-powered hypercar built by the Matador Group in partnership with the Technical University of Kosice, alongside the QUANTiNO 25 and other electric vehicles. Also on display: an all-electric submarine by U-Boat Worx.

The exhibition will be open to the public from June 8 and culminate on the evening of June 11.
