Jazz à Juan, one of Europe’s oldest jazz festivals, returns to Juan‑les‑Pins this July, transforming the iconic Pinède Gould into a magical open-air musical playground
What started life as the Festival Européen de Jazz in 1960, Jazz à Juan has welcomed many jazz legends over the years, including Charlie Mingus, whose 1960 performance is immortalised on the Mingus at Antibes album, Ella Fitzgerald, and Miles Davis, to name but a few.
The 2025 edition of the festival boasts a line-up which includes a dynamic blend of historic jazz masters and contemporary crossover artists. The full programme is available on the festival website.
Festival highlights include:
- 10th July – Air
- 11th July – Jamie Cullum and Dianne Reeves
- 12th July – Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals
- 15th July – Robert Plant presents Saving Grace
- 16th July – Gregory Porter
- 17th July – Ibrahim Maalouf & The Trumpets of Michel Ange
- 19th July – Herbie Hancock
The 64th edition of the Jazz à Juan Festival runs from 10th to 20th July, 2025. Tickets may be purchased online.
But not all the fun at Jazz à Juan is limited to just the main stage – check out the Jammin’ Summer Sessions, a series of free concerts showcasing emerging artists, taking place at La Petite Pinède and La Médiathèque Albert Camus in Antibes.
There will also be Le Before – come early and take advantage of the food trucks on site and maybe even play some pétanque with your friends, all to the sounds of guest DJs.
When out and about on the streets of Antibes and Juan les Pins, watch and listen out for the Summer Marching Band. They will be performing a mix of New Orleans jazz as well as a more current and funky repertoire with eight nightly performances from 20h30 to 21h30.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Mediterranean, the natural acoustics and intimate atmosphere of La Pinède Gould remain unmatched. Whether you’re a purist chasing iconic jazz voices or a cultural explorer chasing fresh sounds and community energy, Jazz à Juan promises ten nights of artistic vibrancy, seaside ambience, and musical legacy this July.
