Congratulations to Manuella Biocca and her Victorian Woman brand for their recent success at the Salon Artisa in Grenoble.

We recently told you about the latest Victorian Woman collection, launched in October. Designer and founder of the brand, Manuela Biocca, also told us that she would be participating in the upcoming Artisa Salon des Métiers in Grenoble.

Well, she did participate, and not only that, she went on to win first prize in the ‘Passion et savoir-faire ou comment sublimer la matière’, with her entry, a dress which she calls ‘Reine des Roses’. Visitors to the salon were able to vote for their favourite creation, with a jury making the final decision.

The dress is made from grey silk, with a bustier, a waist-cincher, a necklace, and to top it all off, a crown befitting a queen. The creation took Manuela 120 hours, and it has definitely paid off with this fantastic win!

For those interested in seeing ‘La Reine des Roses’ up close and personal, you can pop along to la boutique luxe et fourrures Michat, located at the Duboys d’Anger roundabout in Cannes, where it will be on display throughout the holiday season.

Once again, big congratulations to Manuela on this fantastic accolade, and looking forward to seeing what she has in store for us in 2015!
