The new 35,000 seater Allianz Riviera Stadium, situated in la Plaine du Var, is well on the way to its scheduled completion in the summer of 2013.
The Allianz Riviera Stadium, the new home to local soccer team, OGC Nice, will be the star in the Nice sporting crown, hosting the opening ceremonies of the Jeux de la Francophonie next September, a number of matches in the Euro 2016 football championships, as well as many other sporting and musical events.
This is your chance, courtesy of Ville de Nice and OGC Nice, to get your name in lights, as you have the opportunity to name the tribunes in the stadium. You may submit up to four names for the new stands, and the closing date for receipt of entries is Thursday, the 18th October 2012.
A jury consisting of, amongst others, M. Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, and M. Jean-Pierre Rivère, President of OGC Nice, will initially narrow the choice down to the 10 most popular suggestions, and then make the final choice as to the names for each of the four tribunes.
You may enter in a number of ways:-
1. By email to nommetatribune@ville-nice.fr or nommetatribune@ogcnice.com
2. Online at http://nommetatribune.nice.fr and www.ogcnice.com
3. By post to
