Time to submit your entry for the 2nd international Land Art event which takes place on Île Sainte-Marguerite between April and August 2014.
The 2nd Rencontre Internationale de Land Art takes place once again on Île Sainte-Marguerite, starting this coming April, and running until August 2014. The event is a joint venture between the Ville de Cannes and the Office National des Forêts.
Land artists, be they local, national, or international, are invited to submit their proposals for this second edition of the event, entitled ‘Entre Terre et Mer’. Proposals must reach the organisers before the 31st January, 2014.
Fifteen artists will be selected to create their proposed artworks on the island, using solely natural materials found in the environs. They will be in situ on Île Sainte-Marguerite from Sunday, 30th March to Saturday, 5th April inclusive. The official opening of the event takes place at midday on Saturday, 5th April, 2014.

If you are interested in participating in the event, entry forms (in English) are available to download from the Ville de Cannes website. The form also details all the relevant conditions of entry, and other criteria for submissions.
