Café Kanter in Antibes is a family run brasserie that prides itself on quality service and of course their house speciality, the Millefeuille!

This luxurious café cum brasserie, located at the lower end of Boulevard Albert 1er in Antibes, is well known for its simple French food with great fish dishes.

Café Kanter, a family run business established in 1988, is owned by Michel Luc and his two daughters, Laeticia and Jessica (pictured above). They are ably assisted by Chef Mongi, who has worked there as head chef for the last 12 years, before which he worked in Tunisia.

From the moment you arrive, you are guaranteed a friendly and warm welcome and very attentive service throughout your meal. The food is of the highest quality, beautifully prepared and presented. There are some nice touches that add to the overall satisfaction levels, like a complementary glass of champagne upon arrival. At the end of your meal, the bill comes with a selection of sweets taken from a giant vase of Haribo heaven (pictured above).

We recommend that you try the speciality of the house, the Millefeuille, which comes in two varieties, vanilla or caramel. Prices average out at about €30 per head without wine, which may sound a bit pricey, but having tasted the food, you will realise that it is worth every centime!

This is a place that is packed with local business workers at lunchtime (always a good sign), and very popular with visitiors as well. What more can we say, just give it a try!
