The first batch of the much-anticipated Château Miraval rosé wine sells out in hours, a good omen for its celebrity owners.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Château Miraval wine has certainly arrived, and gone, with a bang! 6,000 bottles of the 2012 Côtes de Provence rosé, which was released onto the market yesterday, were snapped up within a matter of hours. The wine was only made available for sale in France, and via the Château Miraval website

The celebrity couple partnered with Marc Perrin, the owner of Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, to produce their ‘Miraval Provence Rosé 2012 mis en bouteille par Jolie – Pitt & Perrin‘. A case of the wine would have set you back €105, including all taxes and shipping.

All is not lost though – if you really want to get your hands on the next batch of the wine, you just need to submit your email address via the Château Miraval website, and you too can be sipping the nectar of the celebrity gods. You might even get a personal invite to Cannes this May…who knows?
