To mark the start of the Nice Jazz Off festival and celebrate the Fête de la Musique, why not join in this record breaking attempt in Nice?

Calling all Niçoises and Niçois – if you fancy seeing your name in the 2015 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records, get yourself along to the Promenade du Paillon in Nice on Saturday, 21st June.

The Ville de Nice is attempting to create the world’s largest human saxophone, and you can be part of this record-breaking challenge. The event coincides with the annual Fête de la Musique, and also the opening concert in the Nice Jazz Off festival.

The event also serves to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Antoine-Joseph “Adolphe” Sax in 1814. He invented the saxophone, a key instrument in the world of jazz, and also the emblem of the 2014 Nice Jazz Festival.
