The 2013 Extreme Sailing Series™ heads into the business end of the season with the penultimate act on the French Riviera this October.
Act 7 of the 2013 Extreme Sailing Series™ presented by Land Rover touches down in Nice next week, with the Baie des Anges the setting for a battle royale between the series leaders, The Wave, Muscat and Alinghi, a single point all that stands between the two teams.
This penultimate act of the 2013 series gets underway on Thursday, 3rd and continues until Sunday, 6th October, with four days of high intensity racing on the cards – if the winds oblige!
Alinghi’s Morgan Larson is under no illusion as to what is in store for the teams – “Nice will throw a variety of conditions at us and consistency, patience and staying cool will be the key. Hopefully we will have good winds that will showcase these exciting boats along the shore of an amazing city on the Côte d’Azur.”
