The BMW Polo Masters tournament returns to Gassin near St. Tropez this weekend, a great day out for all the family guaranteed!
Croquet? Not quite. There are no hoops. You hit the ball with the mallet side rather than face on – the things you learn. Your immediate thought will be that the people will be snobbish, another myth.
As the owners of the polo ponies also play the game, they are all down-to-earth people, realists as there is nothing quite like pitting yourself against others in a situation where no matter how much money or class you have, it won’t help you win.
A sport for ordinary people to play, it is not – to watch, most certainly. It is a great way to spend an afternoon. The event now incorporates a show of classic cars.
Only the British go…this is most definitely a myth. It is true the British created what we see today, as so often happens people in other countries see this developed sporting opportunity as one they can participate in – and do!
Players come from all corners of the world. The St. Tropez Masters was created 25 years ago, and has been going strong ever since. Every year it gets stronger, the sport itself is growing at a phenomenal rate.

Let’s have a quick rundown on why you should go –

3. Great people
4. Not on the beach (there is more to the Côte d’Azur than just beaches).
It isn’t something you will do every day that is for sure, so why not take this opportunity to have a fun day out in a fantastic part of our gorgeous countryside?
