Come Meet Carol Drinkwater in Monaco this July

What better way to spend an afternoon than in the company of renowned actress and author, the fabulous Carol Drinkwater, a feast for the mind and senses alike!

The stories of James Herriot in the BBC series ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ are still among the most popular series classics today. Warm-hearted and humorous, the main characters Robert Hardy, Christopher Timothy and Carol Drinkwater tell of the happiness of being a vet in the rolling hills of Yorkshire.

The American Club of the Riviera, in collaboration with the Princess Grace Irish Library, invites you to a special reunion: a meeting full of inspiration and enjoyment with the enchanting actress and author Carol Drinkwater.

Living in the South of France, Drinkwater writes novels and children’s books (alongside her acting). You can feel her love for the region in every line – she uses the Mediterranean beauty as a creative source for her works and regularly writes for renowned newspapers, blogs and magazines such as France Today.

At the subsequent luncheon in the charming Castelroc Restaurant, from 12 to around 3 pm on 22nd July, Carol will share her inspirations and give tips for a summer of reading. An afternoon full of conversation and culinary and literary delights.

During the event, Carol will talk about her diverse work – from her beginnings on stage to the stories she incorporates into her books and articles. She will provide insights into how life in France and the Mediterranean backdrop inspire her creative work.
