I know that Tim and his accomplice in crime, Mr Boo, have a lot coming up that will be without doubt excellent fun, sadly, this cannot be revealed as (a) it is a secret, and (b) it may not happen as planned. The not happening as planned is the wonderful aspect of their episodes and does have a sense of schadenfreude

Speaking of schadenfreude, they will be continuing their travels with the Panda and the tent. Given their bad luck with the weather at times, I am certain that this will be viewing gold. It will be fascinating to watch their experiences at a ‘clothes optional’ campsite. There will be a lot of editing according to Tim so that our blushes are spared. Cannot wait.

Future travels may see them in far-off places, Marrakech was mooted, though that sounds like an idea too far, in my humble opinion. We will be offered some excellent travels into deepest, darkest Italy. Tim’s ability to search out the quirky and fascinating is first-class. The simple, very honest restaurant reviews are always welcome. The vibe of the place they are visiting always comes across. It gives the armchair traveller a good idea of places they would like to go to and the places they should avoid!

The tooth aspect was fascinating as I know several people that have had some serious dental work done in France and others in Italy. Quite why dentistry across the border can be so very much cheaper is a subject in itself. I have no doubt that people will be eyeing Tim’s new tooth and his progress with great interest!

Tim feels, and I concur, that September and October can be the best months of the year on the Riviera. The crowds of the summer will have eased, and even though it will still be busy, it will be way more relaxed. It is a great time to visit the other villages of the Riviera outside of the usual tourist hotspots of Saint-Paul de Vence and Èze. The old town in Cagnes-sur-Mer (Hautes de Cagnes) is lovely and largely traffic-free, but there are oodles of them out there, each with its own charm.
