We have another very busy agenda to look forward to over the coming seven days in this little corner of paradise. Read on for our carefully crafted and lovingly curated suggestions.

Whatever your interests, you’ll find plenty to enjoy, with activities and events for the whole family.

Here are our top picks for the coming weekend and week ahead.

  • If you are looking to bag yourself a bargain, get along to the Brocante in Les Allées de la Liberté in Cannes, running throughout the weekend. Open from 7 am to 5 pm. Stroll, browse, discover, buy!

  • La Mairie de la Turbie hosts an exhibition entitled « De l’Asie à La Turbie », which runs throughout the weekend on the forecourt of the Mairie and the Salle du Conseil (Council Chamber). This artistic event brings together several local artists around a common theme: the dialogue between Asian influences and contemporary artistic creation. Free admission, all welcome. Open from 10 am to 7 pm today with the vernissage taking place at 5:30 pm. The Fondation Flavien, committed to the fight against pediatric cancers, will also be involved in the event and will be present at the opening.
  • The association RAJAC (Résidence Antiboise des Jeunes Artistes Céramistes) is hosting a Marché de la céramique at Place des Martyrs de la Résistance in Antibes, running throughout the weekend. Come discover 35 ceramic artists representing a wide range of styles and techniques, from tableware and sculpture to jewelry. There will also be pottery wheel demonstrations and informational panels about ceramics, along with modelling workshops for children. Free admission, open to all from 10 am to 8 pm.
  • Musée Matisse in Nice invites you to discover the work of a fashion illustrator through hands-on experience in this workshop at 10:30 am this morning. With guest artist Natalia Valenti. Cost €9 for the two hour workshop – reserve your place online. Open to ages 16 +.
  • Discover the Guinguette Jules & Jules, designed to bring together all generations around music, gastronomy and a warm summer atmosphere. Taking place from 11 am to 1 am at Place de l’église in Saint-Jeannet. There will be a Bal Musette from 2 pm to 6 pm and a live DJ set from 6 pm to round off the night. Free admission, all welcome.
  • French Flyair, an airshow that promises to captivate and delight, continues throughout the weekend in Menton. While the main event takes place tomorrow, there is plenty happening on the ground today!
  • The Comité des Fêtes de la Fontonne hosts its annual Fête des vendanges (Grape Harvest Festival) from 4 pm this afternoon in Place Jean Aude in Antibes. Come watch and participate in the pressing of grapes from Boulevard Beau-Rivage, before tasting the 2026 vintage wine! All in a very convivial atmosphere. Free admission, open to all.
  • The Mairie de Monaco presents an evening of Loto & Bingo at Marché de la Condamine, from 4 pm to 6 pm. Try your luck at the grand lottery & bingo to share a fun moment and win great prizes donated by local businesses. Free admission, all welcome.

Jazz Under the Moon Festival 2026

  • Festival Jazz Sous La Lune takes place tonight in La Colle sur Loup from 6 pm, with a packed musical programme on offer. Food and drink will also be available for purchase on site. Further information and tickets available online.
  • Cagnes-sur-Mer hosts a Soirée American Vintage, running from 7 pm to 11:30 pm in Place de Gaulle. A 100% American evening with Country & Rock ‘n’ Roll dance lessons, a live concert at 8:30 pm and a Rock ‘n’ Roll DJ set to close out the evening. Food trucks on site. Whether you’re a motorcycle enthusiast, a rock fan, a dancer, or simply looking for a great night out with friends or family, come and enjoy this unique atmosphere! Free admission, all welcome.
  • La Note Bleue welcomes Carlos Lopes for the final show of the Summer Festival programme. He draws from his vibrant Creole roots to shape a sound that feels both rich in heritage and firmly contemporary. Reserve your table now by calling +377 93 500 502

  • Menu del Dia plays La Trinquette Jazz Club in Villefranche-sur-Mer at 9 pm tonight. Tickets cost €20 (concessions available) and may be reserved online.
  • Villeneuve Live Music takes place in the heart of the village from 9 pm, featuring Barrio Cuba and their offering of Salsa / Latino. Free afdmission and open to all.
  • Join the final Bal Musette of the summer in Place de l’église in Mouans-Sartoux tonight from 9 pm to midnight. Free admission, open to all. Further information available by calling +33 (0)4 93 75 75 16
  • More outdoor cinema, this time in at the Citadelle in Villefranche-sur-Mer, where Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being screened at 9:30 pm. Admission is only €6 but please note that only cash or cheques are accepted.


Viva l'Italia - Italian Market in Villeneuve-Loubet

  • Villeneuve-Loubet hosts Viva l’Italia, an Italian Market on the Allée des Bugadières, running from 8 am to 3 pm. Come and savor the delicacies and discover the expertise of our Italian friends. Cheeses, cured meats, fruits and vegetables, sweets, textiles, glassware, clothing… a wide range of products awaits you!
  • Vence hosts a classic car meet from 9 am to 6 pm at Place du Grand Jardin and Place Clémenceau. Free admission, all welcome.
  • The exhibition entitled « De l’Asie à La Turbie » continues in La Turbie today. The event brings together several local artists around a common theme: the dialogue between Asian influences and contemporary artistic creation. Free admission, all welcome. Open from 10 am to 4 pm.

  • Le Bal des Fous presents the final event of the season with Le Bal Impérial on the Terrasse Riviera at the Palais des festivals et des congrès in Cannes. Starting at 4 pm, unfortunately, the event is sold out – sorry!

  • Muzsikus Swing bring Jazz Tzigane to La Trinquette Jazz Club in Villefranche-sur-Mer at 8 pm tonight. Tickets cost €20 (concessions available) and may be reserved online.


  • At the heart of the legendary Marché Forville in Cannes, the Monday flea market is a veritable treasure trove for passionate bargain hunters and those curious about great finds.
  • Our friends in Ma Nolan’s Vieux Nice hold their weekly Quiz Night tonight, from 8 pm onwards. Bar tab prizes on offer for the top performers – €100, €50 and €30 respectively.


  • The Bibliothèque patrimoniale Romain Gary in Nice hosts a Café Littéraire this morning from 10 am to midday. Come share your passion for books over coffee in a friendly atmosphere. It also provides an opportunity to discover heritage materials. Free admission but you need to reserve your place – be warned, limited places remaining.
  • Bibliothèque Louis Nucéra in Nice also has an offering today as part of its Ciné Mardi series with a screening of a recent film, a classic film or a rare gem from the Library’s collections. Starts at 3 pm. Free entry but places limited to 43.

Braderie de Mougins

  • The first ever Braderie de Mougins organised by the association Mougins Commerce and Ville de Mougins, takes place from today in the Cour des Arts and participating shops, running until next Saturday, 5th September. Open from 10 am to 7 pm daily.
  • Not to be outdone, UMIH Nice Côte d’Azur presents La Grande Braderie du Vieux-Nice. Running until Sunday, 6th September, come enjoy four days of shopping, discoveries and conviviality. With discounts ranging from 10% to 50% and up to -70% at participating local shops.
  • Les Jeudis du Suquet continue this evening, a festive family event in the heart of Le Suquet, on Rue du Pré, with an eclectic programme featuring orchestras, brass bands, and  musical groups. Running from 6 pm to 10 pm, free admission.

  • The Mairie de Monaco presents another Apéro Musique Live at 6:30 pm this evening at La Marché de la Condamine. Enjoy a friendly happy hour with live music amidst the gourmet food stalls.   • Monte-Carlo Country Club hosts another Soirée Brasero from 7:30 pm tonight at the M.C.C.C. Summer Lounge. Tonight’s theme is Korea.   • Festival Remp’Arts du Rire gets underway this evening in Place de la Courtine in St Paul de Vence. The official opening ceremony will be followed by a stand-up showcase featuring Eliott Doyle, Youness Hanifi, Cécile Marx and the legendary southern French comic Mado. Tickets and festival passes may be reserved online.
  • La Trinquette Jazz Club in Villefranche-sur-Mer hosts its monthly Jam Session with .mp3 at 9 pm. Tickets cost €20 (concessions available) and may be reserved online.


  • The Braderie de Mougins continues today in the Cour des Arts and participating shops, running until tomorrow, Saturday, 5th September. Open from 10 am to 7 pm daily.

  • La Grande Braderie du Vieux-Nice organised by UMIH Nice Côte d’Azur continues in the Old Town of Nice. Come enjoy a day of shopping, discoveries and conviviality. With discounts ranging from 10% to 50% and up to -70% at participating local shops.
  • 10,000 donations of blood are required everyday throughout France. Here is your chance to help out. Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is holding a blood drive this afternoon in Espace Néréides in association with Etablissement Français du Sang (EFS) and the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. A snack prepared by Michelin-starred Chef Yoric Tièche and Pastry Chef Pierre-Jean Quinonero of the prestigious Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel, will be offered to all donors. Donations can be made on-site during designated time slots. Reserve your time slot online.
  • L’apéro des Frenchy take over the Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur in Cagnes-Sur-Mer this evening from 6 pm. A great night out awaits. Food and drink available for purchase on site. Get your tickets online before they sell out!
  • The Jazz au Château festival continues in Haut-de-Cagnes (Cagnes-sur-Mer). Tonight we have Sheik of Swing, performing as part of the Festival Manouche. Please note that there is a free shuttle bus (the No. 44) available from the central bus station up to the venue.

  • Festival Remp’Arts du Rire continues in Place de la Courtine in St Paul de Vence. On stage tonight we have Adel Fugazi, Gabrielle Giraud, Basile and Urbain. Tickets and festival passes may be reserved online.

  • La Trinquette Jazz Club in Villefranche-sur-Mer welcomes Freedom Quartet tonight at 9 pm. Tickets cost €20 (concessions available) and may be reserved online.
