SATURDAY, 22nd AUGUST
- If you are looking to bag yourself a bargain, get along to the Brocante in Les Allées de la Liberté in Cannes, running throughout the weekend. Open from 7 am to 5 pm. Stroll, browse, discover, buy!

- The 45th Championnat du Monde de Boules Carrées takes place in Haut-de-Cagnes in Cagnes-sur-Mer throughout the weekend. You may register on-site from 8:30 am (teams of three €25). Further information available by emailing cercledesamis.hautdecagnes@gmail.com or by calling +33 0(6) 38 84 50 45
- The Braderie des commerçants d’Antibes, organised by La Fédération Antibes Cœur d’Azur, continues throughout the weekend. Participating merchants will be offering a wide range of ready-to-wear clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, shoes, and more at incredible prices. Open 10 am to 7 pm daily.
- La Vuelta 2026 gets underway today in Monaco with the Individual Time Trial (9.6 km), starting at 4:17 pm. An historic day for the Principality. Please note the traffic disruptions and restrictions in place. Once again, there will be a free bus service in operation over the weekend.
- Villeneuve-Loubet hosts another edition of Marina en Fête, a festive and friendly evening in the heart of the Marina Baie des Anges. Running from 5 pm to midnight, there will be a night market and refreshments stands on-site. The highlight of the evening is a Jean-Jacques Goldman Tribute Concert at 9 pm, followed by a fireworks display. Free admission, all welcome.
- The Escapades Baroques en Riviera Française conclude tonight in Beausoleil at 6:30 pm with a concert entitled Duo Artemisia featuring La Chambre. Taking place at Village Charlot Jardin des cultures.
- The Latin Addict collective will take over Nice’s Théâtre de Verdure from 6:30 pm this evening for a major open-air celebration of Reggaeton and Latin-Caribbean music. Part of the Crossover The World festival. Tickets may be reserved online.

- Les Nuits d’Été at the Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur conclude tonight with Soirée de l’Amitié in partnership with Nice Matin. There are five trot races on the programme and a fireworks display to close off the evening. Food and drink available at the on-site restaurants. A family-friendly event. - The 45th Championnat du Monde de Boules Carrées continues in Haut-de-Cagnes in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Today we have the Idéo Challenge, a consolation round starting at 9:00 am. - Stage 2 of La Vuelta 2026 sees the peloton depart the Principality en route to Manosque, a 214 km parcours with a 3,310 m elevation gain. The départ fictif is scheduled for 12:42 pm. Please note the traffic disruptions and restrictions in place. Once again, there will be a free bus service in operation over the weekend.
- Le Bal des Fous presents Le Bal Jungle on the Terrasse Riviera at the Palais des festivals et des congrès in Cannes. Starting at 4 pm, very limited tickets available.
- Crossover The World festival continues at Nice’s Théâtre de Verdure from 4:30 pm this evening with MesclaLand. La Mescla returns as the French Riviera’s largest Afro-Caribbean gathering, bringing an energetic mix of music, culture and community to the region. Get your tickets online.
- The Hôtel Belles Rives Summer Ciné Club continues this evening with a screening of Heartbreaker. Reservations by email: info@bellesrives.com
- The Festival Plage Amour hosted by Hôtel Amour Nice concludes tonight with Sébastien Tellier, who will be on stage at 8:30 pm. Full timetable for the evening. Tickets may be purchased online.

MONDAY, 24th AUGUST
- At the heart of the legendary Marché Forville in Cannes, the Monday flea market is a veritable treasure trove for passionate bargain hunters and those curious about great finds.
- Our friends in Ma Nolan’s Vieux Nice hold their weekly Quiz Night tonight, from 8 pm onwards. Bar tab prizes on offer for the top performers – €100, €50 and €30 respectively.

- Monaco Open-Air Cinema continues with a screening of The End of Oak Street (La fin d’Oak Street). Screening starts at 9 pm. Arrive early to secure your place.
- The Festival d’Art Pyrotechnique de Cannes concludes tonight with Flash Barrandov Special Effects from Czechia. Tonight’s theme is All Is In The Stars. The display gets underway at 10 pm. If you can’t make it, you can watch the live stream on the event YouTube channel.
- Le Festival pyromélodique also concludes in Antibes tonight at 10 pm. This free sound and light show culminates with a fireworks display. Taking place between le Fort Carré and the plages de la Siesta. Free admission, all welcome.
TUESDAY, 25th AUGUST

- La Grande Drag Parade takes place on Rue Bonaparte in Nice this evening from 7 pm. A glittering LGBTQ+ street party like no other! Expect glitter, heels, feathers, fabulous costumes, cocktails, music and plenty of attitude – essentially, all the ingredients for a proper Nice night out!

WEDNESDAY, 26th AUGUST
- Le Suquet des Arts gets underway in Cannes this afternoon at 3 pm in Place de la Castre with « Des Jardins et des Hommes : La Biodiversité ». Featuring the music of Chopin, Schubert, Bach and improvisations. Free admission. There are also events taking place at Le Suquet des Art(Iste)s on Rue Saint-Dizier.

- The Cinémathèque de Nice series of open-air screenings conclude in the Port de Nice tonight with L’homme de Rio. Screening starts at 9:30 pm. Free admission, subject to availability of places.
THURSDAY, 27th AUGUST
- Le Suquet des Arts continues in Cannes this afternoon at 2:30 pm in Place de la Castre with « Absurde Gazon » at 2:30 pm, and « Musique sur la Corde » at 4:30 pm. Free admission. There are also events taking place at Le Suquet des Art(Iste)s on Rue Saint-Dizier.
- Throughout August, come experience Les Jeudis du Suquet, a festive family event in the heart of Le Suquet, on Rue du Pré, with an eclectic programme featuring orchestras, brass bands, and musical groups. There will also be special offers from the restaurants on rue du Pré. Running from 6 pm to 10 pm, free admission.

- The summer season of Les rendez-vous cinéma du Maybourne Riviera x Food Fiction concludes in Monaco tonight with a screening of Bohemian Rhapsody. Tickets may be reserved online but are selling out fast.
- Ciné Quartier concludes in Cannes tonight with an evening of opera and Giacomo Puccini’s La Bohème. The screening takes place at Place de la Castre, Le Suquet at 9 pm. FRIDAY, 28th AUGUST
- More from Le Suquet des Arts in Cannes this afternoon at 3 pm in Place de la Castre with « Musique sur la Corde », some theatre « Gens de la Fontaine en folie » at 4:30 pm, a breakdance competition at 6:15 pm, more music at 8 pm with « Musique sur la Corde » and BABA HEX at 9:30 pm. Free admission. There are also events taking place at Le Suquet des Art(Iste)s on Rue Saint-Dizier.
- Ville de Menton hosts French Flyair, an airshow that promises to captivate and delight. The main event takes place this coming Sunday but there is plenty happening on the ground starting from today!
- Les Pages à la Plage 2026 at plage Zamenhof in Cannes conclude today. Another great initiative by the Mairie.
- Villa Kérylos provides the setting for a special concert by Les Lyristes, bringing the sound of the ancient Greek lyre into a space deliberately created to evoke the civilization that gave birth to the instrument. The concert begins at 8 pm and is followed by a Greek cocktail reception at 9:20 pm. Tickets cost €60 per person and may be reserved online.
- The 9th edition of Les Nuits Dime On, the signature summer music festival at Hôtel Cap Estel, concludes tonight with Michelle David & The True Tones. Reservations can be made via Hôtel Cap Estel’s online booking platform.

- La Note Bleue welcomes The GroovyBoyz as part of the Summer Festival programme. With a sound that runs from ’70s funk in the spirit of James Brown through reggae, jazz, and neo-soul, they shift between vocal numbers and tight instrumental passages without losing momentum. The Nocturnes Cannoises 2026 are back, running from 7 pm to midnight. During the month of August, the Cannes night markets offer a picturesque and attractive craft market where local produce and decorative objects blend well with the mildness of summer evenings. The markets take place on Tuesday evenings at Esplanade Pantiero, Wednesday evenings at Place du marché de Cannes La Bocca, and Thursday evenings at Boulevard Jean Hibert. Free admission to all markets.

Jazz Sous La Lune Festival takes place on 29 August, 2026. Enjoy an unforgettable summer evening beneath the stars at the enchanting Abbaye de La Colle-sur-Loup. Created by Maiart, this elegant open-air event combines live jazz, Riviera charm and a spectacular historic setting for a memorable night of music and fine dining. Each ticket includes a complimentary glass of champagne, a truffle and foie gras tasting, and access to a curated cheese bar by LeChat Noble, specially selected to complement the evening’s performances. On the programme – a live jazz concert featuring Luana Toader and her band with special guest artists, and a spectacular Michael Jackson Tribute Show, followed by a DJ set to round off the night. A special Jazz Menu will be served in the abbey gardens (advance reservation required by emailing lechatnoble@cheflechat.fr). A cocktail and wine bar will also be available on site.
