A somewhat sombre week ahead as we commemorate the 10th anniversary of the horrendous attack in Nice on La Fête Nationale.
While we all reflect on the past decade since that terrible night on the Promenade des Anglais in 2016, there is also a busy line-up of things to do over the coming seven days in this little corner of paradise. Read on for our carefully crafted and lovingly curated suggestions.

SATURDAY, 11th JULY

- Monaco Méditerranée is a contemporary showcase of Mediterranean creativity, craftsmanship and lifestyle, taking place at the Galerie Diaghilev in the Grimaldi Forum Monaco this weekend. - The Pink Parade takes place in Nice today, starting at 3:30 pm at Quai Papacino (Port of Nice) and wends its way to the Théâtre de Verdure. Then it’s party time!
- The République des Arts Cannes / Allées des Créateurs is bringing together both local creators and an exhibition of artworks by other artists, which will be available for purchase on-site. Taking place at the bandstand in the Allées de la Liberté, Cannes, from 6 pm to 11 pm.

- The 13th edition of the Mougins Festival de Musique Notre-Dame-de-Vie concludes tonight with « New Viaggio Trio » featuring Richard Galliano (with Adrien Moignard & Philippe Aerts). Book online.

- The 65th edition of the renowned Jazz à Juan festival continues this evening at the Pinède Gould in Juan-les-Pins with Dhafer Youssef (8:30 pm) and Morcheeba (10 pm). Tickets available online.
- The 2026 Monte-Carlo Summer Festival continues tonight with God Save the Queen – Soirée Fight AIDS Monaco. This dîner-spectacle takes place at the Salle des Étoiles, with the dinner at 8:30 pm and the show at 10:30 pm. Tickets may be reserved online.

- A solemn march will be held in Nice at 8:15 am this morning, with the public invited to pay tribute to the victims of the 2016 attack. This will conclude with the laying of white roses at the Kiosque à Musique in the Théâtre de Verdure, which will remain open throughout the day to allow everyone to pay their respects.

- At the heart of the legendary Marché Forville in Cannes, the Monday flea market is a veritable treasure trove for passionate bargain hunters and those curious about great finds.
- Le Bal des Sapeurs-Pompiers de Cannes returns with a Brazilian theme, Carnaval de Rio. From 7 pm in Place de la Castre in Le Suquet, €5 entry which includes the raffle. Food trucks and refreshments available on site.

- There will be celebrations and festivities throughout the region today to celebrate La Fête Nationale (Bastille Day), with every town and village celebrating in their own way. Check with your local Mairie for events happening in your area.
- There will be a number of special events held in Nice throughout the day to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 2016 attack. These include a flyover by the Patrouille de France, a concert in the Théâture de Verdure by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice and a drone show – full programme and details available on the Ville de Nice website.
- Running until 31 July, BELAPREM transforms the outdoor space at Le 109 in Nice into a free, open-air, hybrid space where everyone feels welcome. Tuesdays feature La Mescla – Archipelagos in Motion. Free admission, doors open 5:30 pm.

- A new exhibition gets underway at NEO art & culture lab in Nice this evening, entitled Alchemie. It is organised by the associations D’ÂMES D’ART and the Cercle des Artistes Saint-Paul-de-Vence and brings together nineteen artists from Nice and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, offering a glimpse into the vitality and diversity of the local art scene. The vernissage takes place from 6 pm to 9 pm tonight and will feature a musical interlude with opera singers Magdalena Motyl and Maria Gridneva. The exhibition runs until 23 July, 2026.

- Throughout July and August, experience Les Jeudis du Suquet, a festive family event in the heart of Le Suquet, on Rue du Pré, with an eclectic programme featuring orchestras, brass bands, and musical groups. The Nocturnes Cannoises 2026 are back, running from 7 pm to midnight. During the months of July and August, the Cannes night markets offer a picturesque and attractive craft market where local produce and decorative objects blend well with the mildness of summer evenings. The markets take place on Tuesday evenings at Esplanade Pantiero, Wednesday evenings at Place du marché de Cannes La Bocca, and Thursday evenings at Boulevard Jean Hibert. Free admission to all markets.

Jazz Sous La Lune Festival takes place on 29 August, 2026. Enjoy an unforgettable summer evening beneath the stars at the enchanting Abbaye de La Colle-sur-Loup. Created by Maiart, this elegant open-air event combines live jazz, Riviera charm and a spectacular historic setting for a memorable night of music and fine dining. Each ticket includes a complimentary glass of champagne, a truffle and foie gras tasting, and access to a curated cheese bar by LeChat Noble, specially selected to complement the evening’s performances. On the programme – a live jazz concert featuring Luana Toader and her band with special guest artists, and a spectacular Michael Jackson Tribute Show, followed by a DJ set to round off the night.
