Your chance to meet and quiz the renowned film director, Stephen Frears, at the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Nice this April.
Attention all movie fans! Don’t miss your chance to meet the legendary Stephen Frears, director of classic movies like ‘My Beautiful Laundrette‘, ‘Prick Up Your Ears‘, ‘Dangerous Liaisons‘, and more recently, ‘The Queen‘. He will be appearing at a special event entitled ‘Leçon de Cinéma de Stephen Frears‘ at the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Nice at 6pm on Saturday, 20th April 2013.
The session will be presented by Michel Clement, film historian, journalist, critic and editor of the magazine Positive. Mr. Frears will be discussing his illustrious career, and will be commenting and providing analysis on some of the movies in his repetoire.

The Cinémathèque will continue the hommage to the director with a retrospective of his works throughout the month of April, including, ‘My Beautiful Laundrette‘, ‘Tamara Drewe‘, ‘Dangerous Liaisons‘, ‘The Grifters‘, to mention but some of the more than 20 films on offer. Please note that you need a membership card for admission to the session and movies. These are available from the Cinémathèque for €1, and are valid until the end of the year. Entry to movies costs €2, and concessions are available for students.
