L’Association des Amis du Musée océanographique de Monaco (AAMOM) hosts its annual summer party on Saturday, 25 July 2026, with an evening dedicated to the ocean.
Being held from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on the rooftop terrace of the Oceanographic Museum, the Summer Party promises an elegant evening celebrating the ocean while supporting projects in aquariology, heritage preservation, and ocean awareness.
This year’s event will also see the launch of The Circle, AAMOM’s new corporate membership programme, inviting businesses to support the Association’s work and contribute to the Oceanographic Museum’s conservation initiatives and the protection of the world’s oceans.
This annual event organised by the friends of the Museum is a wonderful way to welcome summer. I am delighted to see each and every one of you again, and particularly pleased to have the opportunity to introduce Hervé Chrétien, who is dedicating so much time to supporting the Friends in launching The Circle. All the details will be revealed during the evening.”
– Leila Elling, President of AAMOM
Bringing together the local community around a shared commitment to marine conservation, the Summer Party reflects the mission of AAMOM to support the museum through awareness, engagement, and action. Thanks to funds raised during the 2025 event, 22 rare underwater paintings – created before the advent of underwater photography – were restored, preserving a remarkable record of the beauty and biodiversity of the oceans.
Guests can enjoy an elegant cocktail reception at La Terrasse restaurant, accompanied by music from DJ Marc and gourmet creations from Monte Carlo Champagne and Gelato & Cioccolato Monaco.
Families are also well catered for, with a dedicated children’s area featuring activities organised by the Oceanographic Museum’s animation team and partner Eeny Meeny, alongside a floral design workshop hosted by Bloom by the Sea. The evening culminates at 10:30 pm with a spectacular fireworks display over Port Hercule, organised by the Mairie de Monaco, and best viewed from the museum’s rooftop terrace.
