October is globally recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness month, and the Principality of Monaco played its part once again in keeping it Pink!
Pink Ribbon Monaco has been tireless in its efforts to raise awareness about breast cancer, and once again this year, they and their partners oversaw the illumination of the Casino in Monte-Carlo in pink lighting, a gesture of support for those affected by the disease.
There was a press conference and cocktail reception before the lighting-up ceremony, with Doctors Liberatore and Rouison of the Centre Hospitalier Princess Grace giving updates on recent developments in breast cancer treatment, screening and prevention in the hospital.
