The 2026 edition of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week was a resounding success, serving as a stage for new visions and creative impulses.

With Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2026, the Principality opened the international fashion season with a sense of effortless lightness – an opening moment that sets the tone for the months ahead, both stylistically and atmospherically. Photographer Saverio Chiappalone was on site, capturing the most compelling moments.

Monaco remains a distinctive meeting point of diverse styles and perspectives. It is this very plurality that lends fashion here its particular tension – curated, distilled, and rendered with precision.

Saverio Chiappalone presents his photographs for two runway shows, those of Genny and Twinset. His images capture the moment with clarity and atmosphere – immediate, precise, and marked by a quiet sense of expression.

Genny, founded in 1962 in Ancona and still based in Italy, represents Italian couture with a distinctly modern signature. The house is known for its sculptural silhouettes, precise tailoring, and subtle, confident sensuality that redefines timeless elegance with a contemporary edge.

Twinset is an Italian fashion house founded in 1987 in Carpi (Modena), where it remains headquartered to this day. The brand embodies feminine, romantic elegance with a refined attention to detail, blending knitwear, lace, and modern ease into an effortlessly chic expression of Italian style.

Born in the countryside in Germany and naturally connected to nature, I have always appreciated living in big cities and different countries. Nature and culture have always been inspiring teachers. I am passionate about society, nature, fashion, art and the subtle interrelationships between them - as well as the exciting spaces that arise from them. Bordighera and the sea are my other loves.
