Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2026: Between Glamour, Style, and a Vision for the Future

Monte-Carlo, renowned for its cosmopolitan glamour and sophisticated elegance, provides the perfect backdrop for a fashion week that seamlessly bridges tradition and the future.

Running from 14 to 18 April, 2026, Monte-Carlo Fashion Week returns to the Principality with venues like the Yacht Club de Monaco and the Grimaldi Forum hosting the event. More than a stage for runways, it is a place where fashion history comes alive.

The timeless grace of Grace Kelly still seems to drift along its boulevards, while her daughter HSH Princess Caroline of Hanover blends elegance with effortless poise. The next generation, embodied by Charlotte Casiraghi, injects fresh, modern chic into these royal silhouettes. Princess Charlene and Princess Stéphanie complete a sartorial universe that unites glamour, individuality, and history with ease.

The Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2026 deliberately embraces responsible creativity. Guided by the belief that fashion should inspire while making a social impact, the event brings together haute couture, technological innovation, and ethical design principles.

“The Monte-Carlo Fashion Week is a meeting place for creativity, research, and responsibility,” says Federica Nardoni Spinetta, President and Founder of the MCFW. Her goal is to champion contemporary fashion that integrates ethics, inclusion, and sustainability as core values – while providing young talent with a platform to shape the future.

A highlight of the week is the presentation of the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Award to Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio (pictured below), Chief Strategy Officer of EssilorLuxottica, President of Ray-Ban, and President of the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation Italy. The award honours a modern vision of leadership that unites innovation, design, and social responsibility.

“This recognition affirms our chosen path and motivates us to continue putting people, responsibility, and innovation at the heart of everything we do,” says Del Vecchio.

The award ceremony on 17 April promises an evening that celebrates the interplay of style, vision, and social impact in spectacular fashion.

The Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2026 proves that fashion is more than runway and glamour – it is a guidepost.

This April, the world will once again turn its gaze to Monaco, where tradition meets innovation and style carries a message.

Born in the countryside in Germany and naturally connected to nature, I have always appreciated living in big cities and different countries. Nature and culture have always been inspiring teachers. I am passionate about society, nature, fashion, art and the subtle interrelationships between them - as well as the exciting spaces that arise from them. Bordighera and the sea are my other loves.
