With the 42nd edition of The Look of the Year, Monte-Carlo takes centre stage in fashion’s ongoing search for the freshest faces and boldest new attitudes.
Starting today, 12th November, and continuing through the weekend, the Ligurian coast and French Riviera will resonate with an unmistakable sound – the click of heels on the catwalk, the whisper of fabrics on and off stage, and the charged hum of energy backstage. This is the moment when careers are born. This is The Look of the Year 2025.
The finalists’ journey begins today at the Aregai Marina Resort in Santo Stefano al Mare in Imperia, the official headquarters of the event. There, participants will be engaging in training sessions, technical rehearsals, photo shoots, and various preparation activities, all set within an atmosphere of excellence and inspiration.
The highlight comes on Sunday, 16th November, at Le Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel in Monte-Carlo – the World Final. It’s not a stage for confirming trends, but for defining the future. On the runway, models from more than 20 countries, each selected through their respective national contests, will compete for the most coveted title in the world of emerging modeling.

The Monte-Carlo evening will welcome leading international fashion media and trade publications, including Fashion Channel and Fashion TV, alongside a select group of journalists and opinion leaders from the worlds of fashion and culture.
On the runway, twelve international brands will be showcased, with models styled and coiffed by Al Pacino Service Show, the official partner of numerous RAI productions and a benchmark in television and fashion hairstyling.
To conclude this extraordinary edition, the official The Look of the Year party will be held at the renowned Victory Morgana in Sanremo, one of the Riviera’s most exclusive venues. An international-style after-party will follow, featuring a DJ set and live ’90s music by the Divina Live Band, celebrating together with contestants, guests, and friends of the world’s most iconic fashion scouting event.

Two Locations. One Fashion Narrative.
Santo Stefano al Mare will set the tone this week: it won’t be importing fashion, but inspiring it. Monte-Carlo takes the lead for the finale – with glamour and the kind of grandeur that creates runway legends. No coincidence. No staging without substance.
What matters is attitude – and that intangible “extra” that needs no explanation.
