As of today, Port Hercule of Monaco is bustling with yachting enthusiasts, industry professionals and the world’s press for the start of the Monaco Yacht Show 2016. The illustrious event will underpin the Principality’s reputation as one of the main yachting hubs in the world between 28th September and 1st October, and is expected to welcome almost 35,000 visitors and 580 exhibitors. In addition to the 125 spectacular vessels that will be on display – 40 of which will be world premiers – there will be seminars, socialising events and a selection of ever-popular parties to mark the occasion.

Y.CO, the challenger brand of the superyacht industry, has recently announced a strong line-up of yachts for sale and charter that will be available for interested parties to view throughout the event. From innovative sailing yachts to iconic motor yachts and yachts with exceptionally unique designs, the selection is varied and extremely appealing to prospective buyers and charterers.

Yachts for Sale

The award-winning 61.8m M/Y SEALYON will be at anchor outside of Port Hercule and will be available for prospective buyers to view. Built by Viargeggio Superyachts in 2009, the vessel offers superyacht luxuries, including a world-class sundeck, a media room and an outdoor cinema. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in six stunning staterooms.

Built by Lürssen, and demonstrating the shipyard’s exceptional quality, the 58.55m M/Y CAPRI is a proven world-cruiser and boasts a distinguished charter history. The vessel accommodates 12 guests in six spectacular suites and offers a Jacuzzi, a gym, and zero-speed stabilisers.

Modern, chic and sophisticated, the 56m S/Y PANTHALASSA (pictured below) will be presented in excellent condition. The superyacht’s stylish interior was designed by celebrated design firm, Foster + Partners, and perfectly accommodates corporate groups and private parties.

The distinctive M/Y FLYING DRAGON (pictured above) was launched in 2014 by Admiral Tecnomar and complements Italian styling with an Eastern motif to a spectacular effect. The contemporary interior is chic and elegant, and contrasts with the striking blue hull. She sleeps 10 guests in five luxurious staterooms, including a full-width master suite with a fold-down balcony and many amenities.

The gentleman’s sailing yacht S/Y ALEJANDRA is geared for both high-performance sailing and opulent comfort. The regatta-winning vessel offers a sumptuous interior in traditional style, which was designed by hand by Bruce King and is finished in rare Cuban mahogany. The 41.30m vessel offers four staterooms and ample deck space.

Also available for viewing is the performance cruiser S/Y CINDERELLA IV, the uniquely striking M/Y SO’MAR, and, presented in turnkey condition, S/Y MOONBIRD.

Yachts for Charter

One of the largest sailing yachts in the world, S/Y AQUIJO redefines the sailing experience and combines the indulgent luxury of a modern motor yacht with high-performance sailing. Complementing expansive interior volume with vast deck spaces, S/Y AQUIJO offers a spa, an on-deck Jacuzzi, and an industry leading beach club.

The iconic 66.4m M/Y OKTO (pictured in lead image and below) is one of the most recognisable yachts on the water, and combines stunning interiors – designed by Alberto Pinto – with cruising performance. The aft deck incorporates a 6m swimming pool, while the sundeck houses a Jacuzzi with panoramic views.

The futuristic 63.00m M/Y .11.11. was recently awarded the World Superyacht Award for her innovative design and quality craftsmanship. Her Art Deco interiors evoke the ultimate sophistication, while her special features underpin the superyacht’s focus on luxurious comfort: a vast master suite, an oversized Jacuzzi, steam room and massage room. She sleeps 12 guests in six exquisite staterooms.

With furnishings from the Fendi fashion house, M/Y LADY LUCK is unique in her style and is certain to draw a great deal of attention from prospective buyers at the Monaco Yacht Show. The 59.30m Benetti yacht accommodates 12 guests in six indulgent staterooms.

The Amels-built 55m M/Y ELIXIR is the latest in the shipyard’s 180 range and merges high performance with a strikingly strong aesthetic. The spacious sundeck is of an unusually large size for a 55m vessel, and accommodates a Jacuzzi and back-lit onyx bar.
