Versailles-born comedian Issa Doumbia first honed his craft in the same Trappes theatre troupe as Jamel Debbouze. Discovered in 2011, his breakout roles in series like “Lascars” and films like “Comme un chef” launched a prolific career.
A versatile presence, he has since starred in numerous films, including “Asterix and Obelix: The Middle Kingdom“, and become a familiar face on television as a presenter and commentator. On stage, his hit solo show “Première Consultation” led to a national tour, paving the way for his current show, “Monsieur Doumbia.”
11th March – Dany Boon
Dany Boon is a multifaceted French comedian, actor, and filmmaker. He rose from Parisian street mime to national superstar with his 2008 directorial debut, Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis, which became a historic box-office phenomenon in France.

Deeply attached to his northern roots, his work often celebrates the Ch’ti dialect and culture. As a director, he has helmed a string of popular comedies including Nothing to Declare, Supercondriaque, and Raid Dingue. As an actor, he has collaborated with major directors like Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Julie Delpy.
A prolific creator, Boon also writes music, produces films, and continues to define French popular comedy, both on screen and on stage.
He brings his current show “Clown n’est pas un métier” to the Grimaldi Forum tonight.
12th March – Nawell Madani

Nawell Madani is a vibrant Algerian-Belgian force in comedy. A former dancer, she honed her craft with the Jamel Comedy Club before becoming a star in her own right. Renowned for her sharp, socially conscious stand-up, she weaves personal stories of her upbringing into universal humour.
Her solo success led to the semi-autobiographical 2017 film C’est tout pour moi, which she directed and starred in, and the 2023 Netflix series Thicker Than Water (Jusqu’ici tout va bien). With a massive social media following and sold-out tours, Madani continues to connect with audiences through her insightful and relatable comedy.
She brings her ‘Tout Court’ show to the festival.

An evening featuring an array of new and emerging talent, including Gaétan Husson, Rémi Boyes, Lou-Anne Protin, Tom Boudet and Félix Junier. Five comedians on one stage – now, that’s what you call value for money!
14th March – Noëlle Perna
Noëlle Perna, beloved across France, is celebrated for her comedic brilliance, most famously as the irrepressible “Mado la Niçoise.” Her artistic journey began at 20 when she inherited the Bar des Oiseaux in Vieux Nice from her parents. Passionate about performance, she brought the arts directly into the bar before opening an adjoining theatre in 1999.
This stage launched her local success, leading to tours across the South of France. Her national breakthrough came in 2002 when she appeared alongside stars like Gad Elmaleh and Jean-Marie Bigard, bringing a touch of Nice to a wider audience.

Noëlle Perna performs her ‘Mado fait son cabaret’ show at the Grimaldi Forum. She brings together artists for a unique cabaret: talent or nepotism, the mystery remains!
For the festival’s 20th anniversary, compassion takes centre stage. Marking the occasion, Les Sérénissimes de l’Humour will partner with and lend its support to the SPA Monaco (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), proudly continuing its tradition of solidarity with local causes.
Mark your calendars for a landmark celebration of comedy and connection, an event where every laugh supports a cause. This will be an experience rich in emotion, humour, and heart.
