It was an absolute delight to chat with Janeen Sonsie. Although she has been on the Riviera for several years and we have mutual friends like Beverley Holt, somehow our paths have not crossed.
They have now and I am grateful. It is great to talk to people who have created community which Janeen has done through her Facebook group Expat Women in France, 20k subscribers!
Janeen works with all women, but mainly with professional women especially those reaching crossroads in their lives or attempting to take steps forward or even change directions entirely. Women are particularly challenged in focussing on life goals as they often have many competing perceived demands that need to be worked through. Janeen works with women on a one to one basis to, over a period of months, identify and deal with those things that are blocking the route to their destination.
Although Janeen does one to one sessions over Zoom, she is planning a wonderful-sounding retreat. The retreat will be in the delightful mountain of Gréoliers. There is a vineyard there with a house that used to be a small hotel. The setting is perfect for yoga, group talks and, of course, relaxing and having fun. Janeen like to enjoy herself and sees this as a great way to break down barriers.
Janeen has also written a book, Get the B.A.L.L.S. to Get REAL – How to Communicate Effectively to Build Healthy Relationships. I love that title! The BALLS being her 5 main items to tackle and solve difficult problems. I will let you to find out what they are or, better yet, contact Janeen!
