Another excellent conversation with the very knowledgeable Jameson Farn. We look firstly at the Nice Pride event. The French Riviera offers a warm welcome to everyone, and that means everyone.

This is typified by the Pride event in Nice on Sunday 9 July. The procession, parade, will start at 4 in the Port of Nice ending at the Negresco Hotel after which there is a party in the park next to Le Merdien Hotel until 23h30. It is totally sponsored and encouraged by the Ville de Nice. Bring water for the parade as it will be hot! Bring stamina to fully enjoy the parade and the after party!

The Pride event has grown and grown to become a spectacular parade enjoyed by all. Locals and tourists are welcome to join in as they have joined anyway in previous years without being asked. We all know that all the world loves a parade! As far as the party goes, it is a party that is open to anyone and everyone … You will be welcome! It will be awesome!

In the conversation we touch on other aspects of life on the Riviera are discussed especially around the acceptance of the community. For example, Monaco had its second pride event at the beginning of June which was a very well attended and another great success.
