The Monaco leg of the Wanda Diamond League boasts a line-up of Olympic and world champions and some of the sport’s brightest emerging talents.
With just weeks to go until the Herculis EBS Meeting, the event has assembled one of the strongest fields of the athletics season, who will converge on Stade Louis II for what promises to be another memorable evening of elite competition.
Following the earlier confirmation of Faith Kipyegon in the 3000m, Jimmy Gressier in the 5000m and pole vault sensation Mondo Duplantis, organisers have now announced a further twelve international stars.
Sprint Stars Set to Shine
Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred will return to Monaco to compete in the 200m. The Saint Lucian sprinter has already made an impressive start to her 2026 campaign, opening her Diamond League season with a sub-22-second performance in Rome.

Alfred has enjoyed considerable success in Monaco. After finishing second in the 200m in 2023, she went on to claim back-to-back victories in the 100m in both 2024 and 2025. Her return is expected to be one of the highlights of this year’s meeting.
The men’s 100m will feature Jamaica’s Oblique Seville, the reigning world champion and current world number one. Seville, who owns a personal best of 9.77 seconds, has already signalled his intent for the season with an eye-catching 9.91-second run.
Also making his Monaco debut is Jordan Anthony. Recently crowned world indoor champion, the American youngster is regarded as one of the most exciting sprint prospects in global athletics and represents the next generation of elite speed.
A Blockbuster Hurdles Clash
The women’s 100m hurdles is shaping up to be one of the standout contests of the evening.
Olympic champion Masai Russell arrives in exceptional form after clocking 12.14 seconds in Xiamen, a performance that left her just two hundredths of a second shy of the world record. The American will go head-to-head with Switzerland’s Ditaji Kambundji, the reigning world champion, in what promises to be a thrilling showdown between two of the discipline’s leading names.

Pole Vault Rivals Renew Their Battle
Fans can also look forward to a fascinating contest in the women’s pole vault.
World champion Katie Moon of the United States will face Australia’s Olympic champion Nina Kennedy in a duel between two of the sport’s most accomplished athletes. Both regularly clear heights above 4.80 metres and are expected to deliver one of the evening’s most captivating competitions.
Champions Across the Programme
The strength of the field extends well beyond the headline events.
Olympic 800m champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi will line up in Monaco, while Botswana’s rising 400m star Collen Kebinatshipi continues his rapid ascent on the international stage.

Swiss multi-event specialist Simon Ehammer has been confirmed for the long jump, while Italian distance-running star Nadia Battocletti, a world medallist, will also compete. New Zealand’s Geordie Beamish, the reigning world champion, is set to take on the 3000m steeplechase.
These latest additions further reinforce the Herculis EBS Meeting’s reputation as one of the premier events on the global athletics calendar. Year after year, Monaco attracts the very best athletes in the world, creating the perfect stage for exceptional performances and unforgettable sporting moments.
