The annual ICR Media Seminar takes place once again this month in Nice, the topic for debate this time around being human rights.

The International Club of the Riviera in association with its partners, the Riviera Business Club, Events By George! and the Bank Populaire Côte d’Azur present the 5th Annual International Media Forum on Tuesday the 25th of March at 6.00 p.m. at the auditorium of the Bank Populaire Côte d’Azur in Nice.

The topic for this year’s event is “Can we make a difference? The Media and Human Rights.” Can we trust the fourth estate to guard our human rights in a world where celebrity rules the press? Does today’s media do enough to defend, champion, and promote human rights

The moderator and keynote speaker for the evening is the renowned photo-journalist, author and documentary film maker, Nick Danziger, who will not only show us the realities of reporting from areas where human rights abuses are commonplace, but also looks at the stand the media takes in reporting such atrocities.
