Clap Your Way into the New Season with OGC Nice

Show your support for local soccer superstars OGC Nice this August with a Clapping Géant at the Promenade du Paillon.

The new soccer season is nearly upon us, and to mark the occasion, OGC Nice is organising a Clapping Géant in Nice. This will take place in Place Masséna in advance of their local derby against AS Monaco at the Stade Allianz Riviera on Saturday, 8th August.

Whatever the idea behind these clapping sessions, be it a morale booster for the teams or their fans, or both, or just a mass exercise in hand-to-eye (or hand-to-hand) co-ordination, it all looks like a bit of fun. But quite serious fun, as you will see from this video.

So, get yourself along to the Miroir d’eau Promenade du Paillon beside Place Masséna at 2pm on Saturday, 8th August, and join in with all the other OGC Nice fans in welcoming in the new season.

And do remember to practice your clapping between now and then and not let the side down!
