November isn’t yet over, but Christmas is already pushing its way onto the Côte d’Azur – as if the season needed any more on its plate! Still, there’s plenty worth your time. Here are our picks for the week ahead.
Along with the arrival of the first of the Christmas markets, an action-packed programme awaits you on the beautiful Côte d’Azur!
As we round out the month, we say au revoir to Movember for another year (gone but never forgotten), and get the dancing bug in Cannes. Whatever your tastes, you’ll definitely find plenty here to keep you happy!
So, without further ado, here’s our taster of what’s on offer this week.
– SATURDAY 22nd NOVEMBER –
The 26th edition of No Finish Line® Monaco concludes this weekend at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille. Organised by Children & Future, the purpose is to donate all event profits to projects supporting disadvantaged children and those in need. For every kilometre run or walked, €1 is donated by the event sponsors, partners and participants. You may also support the event by purchasing some items of merchandise.
The Motel a Miio pop-up event at NEO art gallery in Nice comes to an end today. Don’t miss this opportunity to come check out their beautiful pottery and wares and maybe get an early start on your Christmas shopping!
The 42nd Foire aux Santons continues in Mouans-Sartoux, running daily from 2 pm to 6 pm until Christmas Eve, 24th December. Taking place at Médiathèque cinéma La strada. Free admission.

Monte-Carlo Opera presents the final performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s Aïda at the Grimaldi Forum at 8pm tonight. Tickets may be reserved online.
The 38th Rencontres cinématographiques de Cannes continues throughout the weekend. Organized by the Cannes Cinéma association, the festival offers the opportunity for the public to discover numerous films, meet film professionals, and share their impressions and opinions during the many discussions. As part of the continuing 20th C’est pas Classique festival which comes to an end tomorrow, Marjolaine Alzari takes to the stage at 3pm today with The Melody of the Tree, a work she wrote as a tribute to The Violin Maker of Venice by Claude and Frédéric Clément (Éditions de l’École des Loisirs). This show is suitable for younger audiences. Taking place at Espace Laure Ecard in Nice. Unfortunately, the concert is fully booked out but you can sign up to the waiting list for this and any of the other remaining concerts in the festival.
The 18th edition of ZeFestival, the LGBTQIA+ film festival, continues in Nice, running until 1st December, 2025. Organized by Polychromes, it is a multi-disciplinary event that embraces cinema, literature, poetry, painting, photography, singing, stand-up comedy, debates, and festive evenings. Check out the full lineup.
Stockfish in Nice is hosting an 80s night tonight, entitled Nostalgia Generation, La Soirée. Tickets cost €12 and must be reserved online. Doors open 7pm and food and drink available on-site.

More from the closing weekend of the 20th edition of C’est pas Classique tonight with renowned pianist and composer Jean-François Zygel who plays Église Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice – Don Bosco in Nice at 8:30pm. The concert is fully booked out but you can sign up to the waiting list for this and any of the remaining concerts in the festival.
The Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival is underway and tonight sees Deluxe present their album Ça fait plaisir at 8:30 pm at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo. Opening the night will be the legendary Stanley Clarke, an iconic figure of the bass and jazz fusion, who will deliver an elegant and rhythmic performance. Tickets cost €90 and may be reserved online.

The Festival de Danse gets underway at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes tonight with the National Ballet of Spain and their presentation of ‘Afanador’, created by Marcos Morau. The performance starts at 9 pm and tickets may be reserved online (very limited numbers left)
Panda Events, in collaboration with Le 109 and the City of Nice, presents LQB Session #2 with Cassie Raptor. She is the undisputed wild priestess of the French electronic music scene. Metal, industrial, and powerful kicks unite in her sets for a raw and cathartic sonic experience. Get ready to dive into her world where the night reigns supreme. The evening also features Ashley & Boticka and an escape game (pre-registration required), where you can dive into the history of women’s rights. Frigo 16, 8 pm to 2 am. Free entry to the concert but pre-registration also required.
– SUNDAY 23rd NOVEMBER –
The 26th Fête de la Châtaigne takes place in Cagnes-sur-Mer today, postponed last week due to bad weather. There is a very full programme on offer in both Place de Gaulle and Cours du 11 Novembre. The event opens at 10:00 am with the parade taking place at 11:00 am. This will be followed by speeches at midday.

The Association Adrien is holding a Loto Géant (Giant Lottery) today in the Hotel Martinez on La Croisette, for the benefit of sick children in the PACA region. The 20th C’est pas Classique festival comes to an end today with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice which invites young audiences and their families on a musical journey that is both fun and enchanting. Under the baton of Vincent Monteil, 14 musicians from the orchestra will bring to life two masterpieces of storytelling music: Francis Poulenc’s tender and poetic The Story of Babar, and Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, a true musical tale that has become a classic. Once again, the event is full, but do put your name down on the waiting list.

The Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival continues with the Harlem Gospel Choir which channels the unmistakable force and spirit of New York gospel. With commanding, beautifully blended voices, this renowned group delivers a performance rooted in faith, rhythm, and uplifting, infectious energy. 6 pm show at the Salle Garnier. – MONDAY 24th NOVEMBER-
At the heart of the legendary Marché Forville in Cannes, the Monday flea market is a veritable treasure trove for passionate bargain hunters and those curious about great finds. Here you can find everything from tableware, luxury and vintage secondhand goods, to contemporary art and vintage vinyl. Whether you’re a collector, art lover, vintage fan, or simply strolling through Cannes, don’t miss this authentic event every Monday at the foot of Le Suquet!
The 19th Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival continues with a 12-chapter video conference presented by Thierry Jousse, in partnership with the Institut audiovisuel de Monaco, entitled Des Jazz au cinéma (Jazz in Cinema). Taking place at Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo, starting at 8:30 pm. Tickets cost from €12 per person and may be reserved online.
– TUESDAY 25th NOVEMBER –
Today marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, as designated by the United Nations General Assembly. Inner Wheel in Cagnes-sur-Mer will be holding a visible and accessible event for the public, wearing orange, the universal symbol of hope and solidarity. Please feel free to join today from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Place de Gaulle. From 1:30 pm in Espace Centre Room, there will be information booths with various associations, police, legal professionals, and health partners. And also the exhibition “Never Again” by Mathilde Oscar. There will also be participatory workshops. In Nice, there will be a number of events on the day itself and the days leading up to it.
– WEDNESDAY 26th NOVEMBER –

The Festival de Danse de Cannes continues with Spanish dancer Lorena Nogal who will perform a series of four original solos in theatre lobbies, created especially for the 2025 Festival. The Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival welcomes Colombian pianist and singer Yuri Buenaventura who will stir audiences with his Latin-infused interpretation of Ne me quitte pas. Through songs from his album Amame and his irresistible, dance-driven hits, he brings one of the standout moments of the festival. The evening opens with Monty Alexander, a towering figure of modern Jamaican jazz, whose playing evokes an entire era of the genre’s history. A true virtuoso, he shares his music with a warmth and exuberance that wins over every crowd.
– THURSDAY 27th NOVEMBER –
If you are in Monaco, why not take some time and check out the Petit Marché du Larvotto, which takes place every Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm. Located on the Esplanade Joséphine Baker, near the Lartigue Fountain. A weekly event to complement the municipal markets, delighting foodies and fresh produce lovers.
Monaco-based high-end skiwear brand High Society is holding an exclusive event tonight to present its ski and fashion collection. The evening is organised in conjunction with TheCorner.com and takes place at MC Market in Monaco, from 5 – 8 pm. There will be an apéro and other highlights throughout this evening of winter magic!
Les Jeudis de la Villa continue at the Villa et Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Tonight features guest Magali Picherie, named Best Sommelier of 2022 by Gault & Millau, who will lead us on an immersive wine journey, exploring the diverse terroirs and the passage of time through the lens of exceptional wines. The Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival continues with Morcheeba, carried by Skye Edwards’ smooth, contemplative vocals, and stands as one of the enduring forces of British trip-hop, cultivating a gentle, reflective sound that has held its ground for decades. The night opens with Léa Maria Fries. Rooted in academic jazz and now pushing into more exploratory territory, she emerges from Switzerland’s vibrant scene with a style that blends her distinctive voice with the electronic textures of her album Cleo. – FRIDAY 28th NOVEMBER –
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas..! The Christmas Market in Nice opens today in Jardin Albert 1er, runnng throughout the Festive Season until 4th January, 2026. Come along and experience the enchanting illuminations, the Christmas Village and Ferris wheel, the gourmet markets, and entertainment for all ages bring the city to life. From Place Masséna to the Promenade du Paillon, and throughout the city, experience the spirit of Christmas in a warm and festive atmosphere. Full details on the Ville de Nice website.
The Christmas Village in Cannes also opens today, located in Allée de la Liberté and Cours Félix Faure. It remains open until 4th January, 2026. There is a bustling programme of events planned for the Cannois festive season, and not just limited to the Christmas Village, but also throughout the city.
The 28th edition of Monte-Carlo Gastronomie returns to the Chapiteau de Monaco, starting today and running until 1st December. You will be treated to international gastronomy, table art, sweets, chocolates, wines, champagnes, liquors… more than 100 exhibitors will be present to show you a variety of exceptional products. This will be a gastronomic journey to be remembered with plenty of entertainment on hand, including the 7th edition of the unmissable Maestro Chef contest, the Maestro Kids and many other surprises! The Basilica in Nice welcomes L’Odyssée Céleste, the immersive 3D show by Luminiscence, which transforms sacred architecture into living narrative through light, sound, and technology. The show opens tonight and tickets costing €19 may be reserved online, but are selling out fast.
The 23rd Festival de Musique Sacrée continues in Cagnes-sur-Mer with a performance tonight by Orchestre ‘Note Libere’ along with the Chœur Philharmonique de Nice. The concert features Handel’s Messiah and takes place at l’Eglise de la Sainte-Famille at 8:45 pm. Tickets cost €15 and may be reserved online or you can also pay at the door. Reduced rates also available.

– OTHER EVENTS & ATTRACTIONS –
The 2026 Nice Jazz Festival may be eight months away (23 – 26 July, 2026) but intial ticket sales are now open. Early bird passes costing €120 available online now.
There is plenty going on in the world of theatre around the region. The Anthéa in Antibes has an amazing programme of shows and performances lined up for the 2025/’26 season. The Théâtre National de Nice also has an impressive line-up for the season as does the Théâtre de la Cité in Nice who have a very busy programme.
There are also plenty of excellent exhibitions going on throughout the region.
