The 26th edition of No Finish Line® Monaco concludes this weekend at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille. Organised by Children & Future, the purpose is to donate all event profits to projects supporting disadvantaged children and those in need. For every kilometre run or walked, €1 is donated by the event sponsors, partners and participants. You may also support the event by purchasing some items of merchandise.

The 38th Rencontres cinématographiques de Cannes continues throughout the weekend. Organized by the Cannes Cinéma association, the festival offers the opportunity for the public to discover numerous films, meet film professionals, and share their impressions and opinions during the many discussions. As part of the continuing 20th C’est pas Classique festival which comes to an end tomorrow, Marjolaine Alzari takes to the stage at 3pm today with The Melody of the Tree, a work she wrote as a tribute to The Violin Maker of Venice by Claude and Frédéric Clément (Éditions de l’École des Loisirs). This show is suitable for younger audiences. Taking place at Espace Laure Ecard in Nice. Unfortunately, the concert is fully booked out but you can sign up to the waiting list for this and any of the other remaining concerts in the festival.

The 18th edition of ZeFestival, the LGBTQIA+ film festival, continues in Nice, running until 1st December, 2025. Organized by Polychromes, it is a multi-disciplinary event that embraces cinema, literature, poetry, painting, photography, singing, stand-up comedy, debates, and festive evenings. Check out the full lineup.

More from the closing weekend of the 20th edition of C’est pas Classique tonight with renowned pianist and composer Jean-François Zygel who plays Église Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice – Don Bosco in Nice at 8:30pm. The concert is fully booked out but you can sign up to the waiting list for this and any of the remaining concerts in the festival.

The Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival is underway and tonight sees Deluxe present their album Ça fait plaisir at 8:30 pm at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo. Opening the night will be the legendary Stanley Clarke, an iconic figure of the bass and jazz fusion, who will deliver an elegant and rhythmic performance. Tickets cost €90 and may be reserved online.

The Festival de Danse gets underway at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes tonight with the National Ballet of Spain and their presentation of ‘Afanador’, created by Marcos Morau. The performance starts at 9 pm and tickets may be reserved online (very limited numbers left)

Panda Events, in collaboration with Le 109 and the City of Nice, presents LQB Session #2 with Cassie Raptor. She is the undisputed wild priestess of the French electronic music scene. Metal, industrial, and powerful kicks unite in her sets for a raw and cathartic sonic experience. Get ready to dive into her world where the night reigns supreme. The evening also features Ashley & Boticka and an escape game (pre-registration required), where you can dive into the history of women’s rights. Frigo 16, 8 pm to 2 am. The 26th Fête de la Châtaigne takes place in Cagnes-sur-Mer today, postponed last week due to bad weather. There is a very full programme on offer in both Place de Gaulle and Cours du 11 Novembre. The event opens at 10:00 am with the parade taking place at 11:00 am. This will be followed by speeches at midday.

The 20th C’est pas Classique festival comes to an end today with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice which invites young audiences and their families on a musical journey that is both fun and enchanting. Under the baton of Vincent Monteil, 14 musicians from the orchestra will bring to life two masterpieces of storytelling music: Francis Poulenc’s tender and poetic The Story of Babar, and Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, a true musical tale that has become a classic. Once again, the event is full, but do put your name down on the waiting list.

Today marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, as designated by the United Nations General Assembly. Inner Wheel in Cagnes-sur-Mer will be holding a visible and accessible event for the public, wearing orange, the universal symbol of hope and solidarity. Please feel free to join today from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in Place de Gaulle. From 1:30 pm in Espace Centre Room, there will be information booths with various associations, police, legal professionals, and health partners. And also the exhibition “Never Again” by Mathilde Oscar. There will also be participatory workshops. In Nice, there will be a number of events on the day itself and the days leading up to it.

The 2026 Nice Jazz Festival may be eight months away (23 – 26 July, 2026) but intial ticket sales are now open. Early bird passes costing €120 available online now.

There is plenty going on in the world of theatre around the region. The Anthéa in Antibes has an amazing programme of shows and performances lined up for the 2025/’26 season. The Théâtre National de Nice also has an impressive line-up for the season as does the Théâtre de la Cité in Nice who have a very busy programme.
