As summer evenings return to Cannes, Ciné Quartier invites residents and visitors alike to enjoy the simple pleasure of cinema under the stars.
Offering free and accessible outdoor screenings, the popular programme provides an opportunity to discover, or rediscover, some of the biggest film favourites in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Organised by the Ville de Cannes in partnership with Cannes Cinéma, the 2026 edition introduces an exciting new chapter for the event. While Place Roubaud in Cannes La Bocca remains a key venue after hosting the programme over the past two years, several new locations have been added to broaden its reach and bring open-air cinema to more neighbourhoods across the city.

Among the new settings is the Médiathèque Noailles, whose intimate and cultural atmosphere lends itself perfectly to convivial film nights. Square Verdun and the Esplanade Pantiero both offer spectacular backdrops overlooking the Mediterranean, creating the ideal setting for festive summer screenings, designed to bring local communities together.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Admission is free to all screenings, and is subject to availability of places. All are welcome though some screenings may not be suitable for children.
Doors open one hour before each screening.
