The Carnaval de Nice may be starting tomorrow night, but passersby in Riquier were given a sneak peek of what to expect earlier today!
La Maison de Carnaval was a hive of activity this afternoon, as the King and Queen of Carnaval were being assembled, in preparation for the big night tomorrow. No mean feat as you can see, necessitating the use of cranes and plenty of manpower! There were also a number of small floats on the street, still half wrapped in their protective plastic.
So, it’s official…Carnaval de Nice is good to go! See you all at Place Masséna tomorrow evening from 8:30pm.
