Our autumn session of author events kicks off on Friday September 25th at 7:30 pm with Greg and Felix Mosse in conversation! We are so looking forward to their chat.

Greg Mosse has enjoyed a long career in the theatre as actor, writer and director. He has lived and worked in London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Madrid and has written and produced 25 plays and musicals as well as his debut novel the thriller The Coming Darkness, the 1972-set cosy-crime series the Maisie Cooper Mysteries and the more recent French Village Mysteries, which begins with The French Bookshop Murder (insert jokes here!) The series follows Zoe Pascal who has decided to live her dream: leave England and open up a bookshop in a small village in the south of France. And naturally, as the title suggests, the course of true bookselling never runs smooth and Zoe suddenly becomes a prime suspect in a murder investigation…

The fourth book in the series The French Vineyard Murder is out next month and we cannot wait to find out more and raise a glass together to toast its success…

Father and son will be interviewing each other and of course there will be plenty of time for Q & A and light refreshments. We will be holding the event over the road at our big sister store the Librairie Masséna. Come one, come all and tell your friends! It’s going to be a great night!

Another date for your diaries… A Court Of Splintered Harmony, the highly anticipated sixth book in Sarah J.Maas’ wildly popular fantasy romance book series ACOTAR (A Court of Thorns and Roses) hits our shelves on October 27th. And because we know fans do not want to wait a second longer than necessary to start reading, we will be opening up the shop at one minute to midnight on October 26th, so as soon as the clock strikes twelve.
