Pop superstar Rihanna has just kicked off her ‘Anti’ World Tour in the US, and hits Europe this Summer, stopping off in Nice in July.

Stade Charles Ehrmann and the Espace Nikaïa may have the honour of hosting Coldplay and Maroon 5 respectively this May, but the Allianz Riviera has beaten them both hands-down, with a major global star headlining its first-ever concert. None other than Rihanna.

The tour comes in support of the Barbados beauty’s latest album, Anti, which was released earlier this year and is by far the 27 year old singer’s most daring and intimate work to date.

Rihanna, or RiRi to her millions of fans definitely needs no introduction. She has sold more than 54 million albums and 210 million digital tracks worldwide, making her the top-selling digital artist of all time. Before Anti, the young singer had already released seven albums in seven years, amassed 13 No. 1 singles, including “Umbrella”, “We Found Love” (with Calvin Harris), “Diamonds” and “S&M,” and won eight Grammy® Awards.

A fashion icon in her spare time, Jay Z’s protégé has also launched six fragrances as well as two capsule collections with Armani and four River Island collections. She is the new face of Dior’s “Secret Garden” campaign.

And while her current beau, Travis Scott will be a special guest on North American dates, The Weeknd and Big Sean will accompany her during the European leg of her tour.

Over the years, Rihanna has become bigger than her music and seeing her in concert will definitely be a treat, whether you are a fan or not!

Rihanna plays the Stade Allianz Riviera in Nice on Friday, 15h July 2016 at 7:00 pm. Tickets range in price from 62,90 € to 215,90 € and can be purchased through all the usual outlets or reserved online.
