The Théâtre de Verdure in Nice will be transformed into one big beach party this month, as the spirit of Ibiza comes to this side of the Mediterranean.
The Balearics are coming to Nice! For two days at the end of August, Nice will be transformed into one big beach party courtesy of the legendary songwriter and producer Tom Oliver and his entourage. The Ibiza Festival takes place on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st of August at the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice.
Mr. Oliver, one of the official artists of Café del Mar, and a contributor to its 25th anniversary album, will be joined on stage by Discey, Sunrider out of L.A., Leon El Ray (who will be spinning the discs), Felix Petry (on saxophone), Nicolas Castagnola, and Brazilian Fernando Alvarez, along with a bevy of dancers and models, strutting their stuff.
The supergroup will be performing three sets each evening – Ibiza Cafe del Mar Sunset, Ibiza Chill House and Ibiza Dance House, guaranteed to keep the crowd on their toes.
Tom Oliver has gained renown in the world of dance music over the years, headlining many of the biggest festivals on the planet, and was one of only four international artists invited to perform at the 25th anniversary party of Café del Mar in Ibiza. He also has the honour of having played a private audience for the Dalai Lama, and is the founder and president of the World Peace Foundation and the World Peace Festival.
Tickets cost €21.80 for adults and €16.80 for children, and may be reserved online or purchased at your local Fnac. Shows start at 8pm each night, finishing up at midnight.
