The Open de Nice tennis tournament is well underway, and despite a very wet opening weekend, the quality of tennis is definitely au top!
Nice Lawn Tennis Club is where it is all happening this week, as some of the world’s top men’s tennis players find form before the start of the French Open in Roland Garros next Sunday.
Top seed Tomas Berdych did withdraw, but there are plenty of other big names to attract the crowds – not too bad a draw with the likes of Gilles Simon, Gael Monfils, and John Isner battling it out.
Both Isner and Simon were on hand today to play some mini tennis with local school children on the Promenade des Anglais, followed by autograph sessions with both players.
