French auction house Artcurial will set up home in Monaco yacht club this January, presenting three exceptional auctions.

Artcurial, which opened a permanent office in Monaco last year, will set up home in the beautiful yacht club there from the 18th to the 20th of January, marking the 40th anniversary of the Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo. That will be the first time that Acturial holds a winter auction in the Principality.

The first sale, on Monday the 18th, will definitely have a festive theme thanks to the Wine and Spirits department, market leader in France, which has assembled an outstanding catalogue of Champagnes and rare spirits. Connaisseurs will be presented with 100 bottles of Hennessy CognacBeauté du Sièclepresented in a beautiful box designed by French artist Jean Michel Othoniel and covered in blown glass and reflective stained-glass enclosing a Baccarat cristal carafe and 4 Murano blown glasses.

On the following day, a prestigious sale of fine jewellery will take place and will feature a magnificent platinum gold brooch by FRED, styled as a bow and set with white, yellow, madeira and cognac coloured diamonds, a Boucheron platinum bracelet set with baguette-cut diamonds as well as a pair of a white gold earrings decorated with cabochon emeralds and diamonds.

Finally, on the 20th of January, there will be a variety of items on offer, paying tribute to the renowned Fratellini circus family. Included in the auction will be a nice selection of paintings, drawings and prints signed by artists such as Jules Monge, Pierre Lacroix and Bernard Naudin, as well as rare decorative and promotional objects such as costumes and accessories for performances
