I have just had a really great conversation with Cédric, Ced, Biscay who is leading the prelude to the main ComicCon event next year.

This one is a real live taster of what is to come. It offers a real opportunity to get involved, enjoy and be the first to savour what will be on offer. And, by the way, Ced is a significant manga author/creator himself.

Comic books are big business, big entertainment! Around the world there have been many ComicCons, they are huge in the US especially the ones in San Diego and New York. At last we will be having one on the Riviera in the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco. Between the 15th and 17th of November we will be having a real taster for the even larger event in 2025.

For those not into comic books or the characters, you are missing a lot. The comic books that originated in the 40s and 50s of the last century have been brought right up to date. It is no longer the province of youngsters, far from it, it has become something quite magical and extremely artistic. Yes, there are the usual heroes and villains, but add into the mix wonderful artistry, clever storylines and characters that resonate, then you have a recipe for something new, original and totally successful.

The characters become real. At the Monaco ComicCon there will be opportunity to meet actors/statrs who play the characters. Not only that, but there will be an opportunity to compete with others in recreating those characters. A theatre has been organised to do just that. Of course there will be merchandise available for purchase.
